'NoDrives' registry entry disappears

    Also, I think you are better off using the calc. and the reg key. As far as I can remember you are pretty restricted on what you can hide in gpedit.msc...................

    I went to the site and it sounds good until I saw this:

    I run scheduled tasks to the current hidden drives, but the quote infers that they would be unavailable????

    That's what it sounds like to me.. I use Acronis Disk Director to manage my drives and it doesn't have a Hide option..

    Damn me, but it happened again.
    This time I downloaded 'NoDrives Manager' and set it up again.
    I assume it's writing to the registry - not the same location I was using - but I can't locate it.
    Anyhoo, they're hidden again.

    I don't have KB2949927 installed.

    Yes, they're safe from casual prying.
