Nokia 6230b

    I bought a nokia 6230b second hand. When i put my sim card there is no signal. I live in Botswana , Africa. Is there any way i can fix it ?

    What country was the phones origin ? USA ?

    What network are you trying to use ?

    A European 6230 will have no problems working in Botswana!

    I dont know i bought it second hand on the stiker is writen that is made in china and is 6230b Type: RH-28. I want to use it with mascom and orange in Botswana. Any suggestions ?

    I thought as much m8....you have a USA 6230 and will not work in Botswana.

    You're welcome. The 6230 works on these frequencies 850/1800/1900 MH/z, Botswana is 900MH/z only.
