If you open the front flap on the Dbox1, you can then carefully remove the shiny black panel that is there (the panel with the slot for the card).
Once the panel is off you will see the cam properly. Just pull that out (same direction as if you're removing the card).
Maybe there's no cam there, just an empty slot?
The cam looks almost identical to a pcmcia card that some laptop computers have slots for.
There's only one slot so that's where you insert your Amon cam when you get it.
very nice yes dear there is a cam inside i took it out but that is not amon cam i mean dose not say on the cam.what do i need to do now. one more thing i can receive FTA channals but not pay channals.
i have a amon5.4 installed and i got a ifinity usb unlimited to programe my funcard i have read the threads but i can.t seem to put the new keys on the cards can someone help please
Read page 2 of this thread.
You have to edit the external eprom file via ISVEdit before flashing.
i tried that but i can,t seem to get it working its doing ma head in it just gives me a blank screen once i have used isvedit and saved the file i open infinity and write to card but no luck
Go to cam info inside dvb2000 and check if you can see the card number.
menue button -> 8 -> 3 -> 4
You can leave the menues via the TV button.
01 00 aa 00
emm/ecm: 0025 0000
You have to insert the funcard with the contacts downwards and backwards.
i am doing that still nothing
If you get no card number in cam info the funcard is not proper programmed.
You have to write the eeprom file to the external eprom amd the flash hex to the AT flash. The internal eprom is not used.
tried to do it again and at ser in get keymakerKM5 but nothing at the nat i did have ned at it but i tried to reprogrmme it what do think is wrong now still no pics
Save the eeprom file in bin format and write flash and eeprom again.
mgb17 im learning this as i go could you give me a idiots guide to save as bin and there after cheers for the help
Follow the description at page 2 of this thread.
In the last step you can decide in which format ISVEdit save the eeprom file.
i think im on the right path in the cam menu it has numbers after ser 35001625306
what does this mean wrong keys
It means the card is readable.
If you get no picture for the scrambled channels it looks like you wrote old keys to the eeprom file.
do you know a forum i can get new ones
