hey guys, i read the full thread and i just have a few questions if anyone could answer them, right.
1. Do you HAVE to use a unlimited usb thing to put the dbox1 info onto the card or can you do it through the serial port at the back?
2. Does it have to be a funcard 6 or will any funcard e.g funcard 2 or 4 do?
3. I'm still alittle unclear on how to get the new frequencies?
4. Is the CAM a green and black card thats next to the card slot in the dbox? (it looks like the one i saw on ebay but just making sure)

the DVB2000 is already on it so is that on the cam? if anyone can help it would be fantastic. i might seem abit dumb asking all these questions when most have been answered. sorry for any inconviences

 

The dbox1 has no funcard programmer on board. You have to use an funcard programmer like the Infinity USB or Apollo for the printer port.

Funcard 2 to funcard 6 is ok. You can choose what you want.

Use the first 4 digits of the default frequency for your area in the tuner menue and change then to the cable search and do a NIT only scan.

Only the green/black cam is convertable to the amon soft. Buy one which is already converted.

DVB2000 is the firmware for the box. Amon is the firmware for the cam.

 

is it the keymaster 4.0 to get the keys to put on the eeprom.hex? because all they keys i get on that are too long to fit in the box i've order the ulimited usb thing and a funcard just need to figure out this next bit. also do i just leave the flash.hex alone and just put it onto the card or do i do summats to that?

 

i got the ulimited usb now and a fun card and tried to put the keys on the from the key master but the keys i get on the keymaster4.0 are too long to fit in the boxes in the nagra bit so am not sure and which keys do i use the dish provider or the bev one's on keymaster? am just abit confused and do i do anything to the flash.hex or do i leave it how it is?

Simply try the frequencies for the scan.

 

wot are the latest keys to put in the eeprom?

 

i've found all the pay channels like skysports uktv gold n all that but it always say fta then crd which means card i guess?and theres just a black screen but wen i go into the cam info it has a ser: 35.... so i think av programmed it right but the keys i got are wrong
and it says no signal but i get sum of the free channels and i'm using a sky dish because we used to have sky but got a dbox1 cos its free can u find the latest keys for it?

Are you talking about a sat box or cable box?
The theme of the whole thread is cable not satellite.
Sky via satellite is not hacked.

can someone help me plz iv just got a dbox1 pluged it in everthink fine all channels on till i pressed somethink on the control and now i carnt get my channels back on

when i scan for channels it just not finding eney

 

Menue button -> 6
Press 1 and type the first 4 digits of the default frequency for your area.
Press 3 and type 06887 or 06952 depending on your area.
Press menue button again and then 8 -> 6 -> 3. Select with 9 scan nit only, select with 2 replace, start with 1 the scan.

 

how do you get the code for your area
