    Hi guys this forum is great but I have to be an unlucky one here. After nearly 10 hours messing around with my nokia dbox2 I've still got nothing but the freeviews. I followed all the instructions to the letter and they were pretty straight forward. I installed the bigmaq toolbar, got the new codes but nothing. Changed the au to 00 but the saves saved nothing. After a click on red save button,
    the box just disgarded everything and returned to its original settings. I've got the old snapshot 2.0 image and decided to change to sportster but despite trying with 2 laptops, crossover leads, a hub, a router I just couldnt connect to the box. My FTP has been included in both Laptops. I tried everything but nothing. Is there any special setting that must be in place before the flashing. Please help I'm desperate. And does anyone have the Bouquets’ and ‘Services’ files for Brixton in London. Mine disappeared completely in August, but the box worked okay till yesterday.
    Has my box gone or is there still be hope. Thanks

    do the codes still need to be changed?

    hi all

    mines been working snce last night since installing the new keys.

    firstly.
    why would i need to turn off the auto updater as surely the old keys wouldnt work if new ones were generated again my VM.

    secondly , wouldnt we need the new keys so that people could edit the key and the odd digit.

    i understand that the keys genrated were wrong but if we dont know when they are generated we wont know when to correct them.

    can someone please advise before i start to bugger around with the Dbox settings as it is pretty confusing for a simple mortal such as me.

    use the instructions in the step 10 guide.

    make sure auto update is disabled.

    and change the cam.

    this is how to get the dbox up n runnin again.

    im up for work just now and mines has been fine from 10:00pm last night.

    good luck guys in finding an image to sort this all out!

    I manage to go into "SoftCam.key", I see all the numbers but when I got to edit, it wouldnt let me ... when I press OK what happens is, numbers scrolls down .... its acting like page down ... (how can I select the row or the number I want to edit) I tried everything but I cant seems to edit. what do you think I'm doing wrong ... pls help

    can any one help please iv downloaded bigmaq tool bar but its only got yesterdays code i entered them any way but when i go to change my soft cams i cant find it i can go into emu selection and change them but ive got no mgcam ive got evo cam, evo cam alternative camd 2, and sbmcamd has any one got any idea what i should do

    Sean85, the keys from yesterday are still working here, (N*L in South Wales). Have you disabled the autoupdate on your box, (there is a description back in this thread somewhere...basically you change the AU to 00 in one of the files and save). If youve done that then change the keys to those from the toolbar, then save again. This got mine working and I didnt have to change any cams, (I havent changed mine from evocam through all this).

    What I'm trying to say is that I dont think you need to change the cams, or at least I didnt on mine.

    box running in bradford since 7pm last nite.Expecting it t o go dead any time soon hopefully should get new keys from bigmaq toolbar.
