iv had my box on since 3pm yesterday iv not changed any cams not turned of any auto updates only put the codes in thats it.

but the ones we have got are only temp beware of that

im in the process of getting new codes that will sort it just every1 just sit tight

its all a waiting game for us

 

first download bigmaq toolbar that gives you the codes

this is how i got my DBOX working -

1 - press the blue button on your DBOX - and go to option 2 Tuxbox commander.

2- then scroll down to the option that says "var" and press ok
3- scroll down to "keys" and press ok
4- scroll down to "keylist.txt and press 4 (to edit)
5- If your like me and are in the Pure NTL area your codes will start like N 5401 00 etc etc, press ok on the 1st key which starts with N 5401 00
6 - Type in this key after 00 - enter your key code
7- press ok to exit then go to the key which starte "N 5401 01"(your area code)
8 - type in this key after 01 - enter your key code
9 - Press ok to exit then press the button under your power button (under the orange button) and save changes when asked.


After that you need to deactivate your auto update because if you dont the channels will not stay on. So press the blue button again click on sportster then click on emu settings,evocamd and then emu/auto update and deactivate. Then reboot the dbox and hopefully it should work.

 

Turner123,I also havent changed any cams or turned auto update off,no need to do that just enter new codes and ur up and running.Reckon we gonna have to do it 3 times aday until sum1 finds a permanent solution.Any1 in bradford area need help ps me and ill try to help if poss.

 

i have looked at my codes in my box they updated the 00 code at 23.00 last night but stayed the same,but the codes on my comp show 05.00 in the morning when they updated so the update of the code has not affected the code i put in,

plus when they do go off its only 1 number or letter in the 00 code that changes

i change mine by ftp drag the good code from laptop drop in dbox unplug it and back in up running again and have been since 3pm yesterday without a change

 

I live in Bradford and im having problems, i changed the keys in both softcam and the keylist and still no joy, where am i going wrong??

 

1)how do i disable auto udate on a commando image?

2)can any with a dbox that is working tell me wht roms they have enabled or disabled?

my are all disabled when i change them and reboot the go back to disabled again????????

 

In Dublin area, I have rom 7 enabled, all others disabled. Have a look in your keylist.txt and see what roms its referring to.

 

i disabled all roms but 7 saved all setings rebooted the box
now all roms are disabled and this is whats in my keylist

I have just tried this and it worked for me for 1 hour, now its gone off again. I know Turner lives in the same area as me. Is yours still running??

Well what can i say this has really put a spanner in the works hasnt it, looks like i was stuck in the first place for a reason, I cant even get any keys to work not even for a min, VM are looking top dogs at the min, and i dont have a clue about my dbox!! may aswell throw it in the bin!! im not technically minded atall.

I used the Bigmaq keys and put them in the keylist and the softcam files but still no joy, seems im out of my depth.

Hopefully someone with einstein brains will come up with a soluition.

 

to be honest i would sell your dbox on ebay before the majority of people click on theyr not 100% anymore and spend the money on buying a chipped v box! The cost of the box was defo worth it for how long iv had it tbh!

Some big bods from vm are probably subscribed to this thread anyway watching us all squerm haha

 

C1 6C BE 24 09 F2 DD FA Is the latest key that works for N*L updated a few minutes ago.

 

yeah your prolly right they will be laughing there t*ts off at us trying to keep up with them while eating a burger and fat coke!

 

If you have ROM7 enabled then its ROM7 you need in your keylist. Take out the other lines and leave in N 5401 01 and N 5401 00 with ;ROM7 at the end.

 

All gone again if anyone knows where to get chipped v+ boxes love to hear from ya lol

 

there is a solution the guy we got ours off of has new software for it tried and tested wi others and back to full workin order so i have been told, mine is going away today to be sorted but he's raking in the cash as he's charging £25 to to sort the bloody thing will let u know how it goes on return of box fingers crossed oh there must be a simple way around this problem as a still have old chipped analogue cable box and it still works seems it's a digital thing

 

Right got them again you have to enter the new key codes of BigMaq tool bar and re do it all again pain i know but still at least all channels back ps remember to edit them and re-start softcam on a free to view channel not a locked one
