Nokia Dbox2

The problem is that some of the threads say you do need to turn off the auto update and some don't, so I am not sure what to go with.

If I just change the codes, they change back and the channels don't come up, so I presumed that you do need to change them.

I am happy to go with any advice though as I am stuck.

you have a extra 01so lets get rid

1 - press the blue button on your DBOX - and go to option 2 Tuxbox commander.

2- then scroll down to the option that says "var" and press ok

3- scroll down to "keys" and press ok

4- scroll down to "keylist.txt + press 4 (DO NOT OK)to edit you must PRESS 4

5- your keys read N 5401 OO 8A6B4256D5E3831E :ROM7 AU KEY TIME THU APRIL 10 00:53:27 2008
N5401 01 01DB7E66A37E39383 :ROMIO AU KEY TIME WED APR 9 13:5 8:15 2008
6- dont touch N5401 01 but delete the next 01 then dont touch :ROMIO AU KEY TIME WED APR 9 13:5 8:15 2008
you second one should read N5401 01 DB7E66A37E39383:ROMIO AU KEY TIME WED APR 9 13:5 8:15 2008
6 - Press ok to exit then press the button under your power button (under the orange button)

7- and save changes when asked, if box is in German press ja.

8- Reboot (restart your box) Do not go back into the keys REBOOT

9- all should be working!!!

If that is the case, thats great - do you have any thought as to why nothing is working after changing the codes? And also that the codes change back.

I have followed all the advice from everyone to change the codes and that seems to work fine but after that......??

There is also the lastest Virgin neutrino files for both chips in my folder below

 

Did you make sure the Evocam is the only only enabled plus the nagra 7 romthe rest disable

Just to confirm, I dont have the cable to fix the box to my pc, so everything is havign to go through the remote at present.

the keylist.txt will not update on the DW image. The only file you should be changing for the keys is the SoftCam.key file. I have been fdoing that with the new codes and it has been fine. Also the DW image allows you to disable NagraRoms. See below about the fix. So disable all nagras except ROM7 and you should be ok.

Also see the posts form OggNogg - there is a new nagrarom7 update. If you update your box with that from his link then the you have a permanent fix.

Hi all i have a dbox2 which is running on commander 6 image i live in Poole can I follow the guides above to change the keys or will i need to use a new image?

Also on oggnogs area files do you flash the one for your area onto the box after you have done the image?
