do this
1 - press the blue button on your DBOX - and go to option 2 Tuxbox commander.

2- then scroll down to the option that says "var" and press ok

3- scroll down to "keys" and press ok

4- scroll down to "keylist.txt + press 4 (DO NOT OK)
and see if your codes are still the same if not change them back but DONT do a rescan just save all & reboot and try

DBox2, Commando image, Glasgow Virgrim media, using evocamd and all nagraroms disabled except 7.

I've set the two keys as described elsewhere in the thread:
in /var/keys/Keylist.txt
N 5401 00 8A6B4256D5E3831E ;ROM7 AU KEY TIME FRI APR 11 08:00: 2008
N 5401 01 DB7E88CA37E39383 ;ROM7 AU KEY TIME FRI APR 11 08:00: 2008

and the same in /var/keys/SoftCam.Key

Still no joy, though. Any thoughts?

i have 11 codes now on the keylist!!!!!

to be honest i have not got a clue wot to do someone fitted it for me now i cant get hold of the c*nt!

YOU codes are typed in uppercase(capitals)because they should be and after you save them do a reboot NOT a rescan! I did not do anything with the /var/keys/SoftCam.Key

 

right have changed the keys to small letters and then capitals and it still the same it just want have none of it. i just find it strange how it can work for some people and not for others i thought it might be cause i scanned when channels went on 8th april as peeps been saying dont scan but some have scanned and still got theres working i just give up

That's copied and pasted verbatim from the terminal window. So I only need to change /var/keys/Keylist.txt - and nothing else?
I've rebooted after every change.

Can I make one suggestion to everyone, PLEASE DO NOT POST KEYS HERE IT IS HIGHLY ILLEGAL. I am sure Virgin Media/Kudelski will not be very happy for people posting the keys.

This is a public forum and what people are doing by posting the keys on this forum is very illegal - use BigMaq to get the keys - google bigmac toolbar download it install and it its their - the keys.

 

So when you do the 4 steps the keys are all in uppercase(capitals)
it has nothing to do with you doing a scan when the channels went as long as you dont do the scan now I did 3 scans and I got my working, you said you were going to do a flash did you do that ? if so it could have been this.
So if you want check the 4 steps if they are the same,

all I can say is delete all codes and they will be there in the morning and we can try again

 

The bigmaq toolbar crashes my browser every time I try to use it. Is there another source of the keys? Even just the URL that bigmaq gets the keys from?
