kein system fixes looking after preston area ?

 

I got it working in Vista 64 and still having my net running as i have two ethernet connections .
Way to set it up is Local Area Connections networking untick everything apart from internet protocol 4 (TCP/IPV4).
Set up the way it says for xp now no need for the half duplex thing should work no problem.

 

best for vista ftp is cutefxp give it a whirl got it ere if you need it any1

Hi I've been accessing my box via FTP, but I can't change/edit/delete anything as it says the file permissions are wrong. How can I change these (on the box), when I change them on XP it gives me an error (550).

someone please answer me this,
i have just redone a service scan and i have 50 entries in my keylist.txt
00 rom7
01 rom7
00 rom10
01 rom10

shall i delete all the old ones leaving the latest 4 as above?
and then deactivate the auto updates?

i think my number starts 5c so i guess its a CW area ? Aylesbury the toolbar is dates 11 april and i cant add my area so i assume its generic?
will this be ok?

STEP 1: First press the blue button on the remote, choose Sportster (or blue button again), go to EMU settings (or blue button again) and choose EVOCAMD. Press green or go to EMU/Autoupdate. In grey it will tell you wether updates are activated or deactivated. Press yellow to deactivate if its not already deactivated. Press home x 3 back to the EMU selection screen, press red on the EVOCAMD to restart this.

STEP 2: You need to download software to your computer only. Do this by clicking the link and downloading/installing it to your computer: http://bigmaq.ourtoolbar.com/
This just adds a toolbar to your internet explorer. On the toolbar go to Latest Keys and choose your area, choose the latest date if more than 1 option and it will give you two codes which look like: KEY 0 (followed by digits) and KEY 1 (followed by digits). Make a note of these for the next step. This will hopefully tell you the code whichever area you live in.

STEP 3:
1 - press the blue button on your DBOX - and go to option 2 Tuxbox commander.
2- then scroll down to the option that says "var" and press ok
3- scroll down to "keys" and press ok
4- scroll down to "keylist.txt and press 4 (to edit)
5- If your like me and are in the Pure NTL area your codes will start like N 5401 01 etc etc, press ok on the 1st key which starts with N 5401 00
6 - Now use the codes you got from Biqmaq in step 2: Type in this number after 00 and the 01. i.e. overwrite the number after the 00 or 01 using your remote control. (it takes a while to get the knack of it).
7 - Press ok to exit then press home. It will ask you if you want to save, choose yes. Press home again and again save if asked until you are back to the normal screen.
Note: The screen will still be black at this point.

STEP 4:
Now press the blue button, go to Sportster (or blue button again), choose EMU SELECTION and press red or ok to restart the EVOCAMD, a confirmation message will be shown. Now your picture should appear. If not try to restart and then it should appear.

This is what I did and it worked for me. Good luck and many many thanks to everyone that helped me get my dbox working again. I really really appreciate it.

Hi Everyone

I have managed to get my DBOX working again thanks info supplied by billie22.

Can anyone advise how to organise the channel listings.. at present BBC1 is number 22, SKY Sports1 number 218.. etc.. Tried / Service Menu / Refresh Channel List but this did nothing.
Someone suggested Bouquet Editor but I wasn't sure how to use this?

you have flashed a bad image or a x1 on a x2 vise versu

 

go to main menu no 5 service
go to bouguet editor ok
go to sports press ok
then press green (add)
scoll down and add all sports by pressing ok
when you'v added all your sports do the same again on all others
at the end press red to save.

look at the pure ntl code( sorry I was told I am not allowed to show you them)but you will see what the codes should be and what your codes are upper or lower case change them to what bigmaq tells you remember to do the upper or lower case that you see there,then try to follow this:

first I download bigmaq toolbar that gave me the codes

1 - press the blue button on your DBOX - and go to option 2 Tuxbox commander.

2- then scroll down to the option that says "var" and press ok

3- scroll down to "keys" and press ok

4- scroll down to "keylist.txt + press 4 (DO NOT OK)to edit you must PRESS 4

5- after 00 - Type in your new key code

6 - Press ok to exit then press the button under your power button (under the orange button)

7- and save changes when asked, if box is in German press ja.
at this stage do not go back into the keys
8- Reboot (restart your box)at this stage do not rescan

9- all should be working!!!

if not unplug & plug-in and see if this works!!!

I can't see why TCP would be a problem, just tried on a different machine (an ibook). To recap, I can't edit keys (or anything else) on the box (via TuxBox commander) if I change it, when I come back it hasn't changed. If I try and delete anything it gives me an error (unknown error 256). I can FTP in ok, but again it wont let me edit or copy, and changing file permissions also gives an error (SITE CHMOD 550). Is there a way I can change them on the box?

 

Can anyone tell me how to find transponders using a Dreambox 600PVR. In Kildare using Ch()rus?

Box is sitting unused. Any help greatly appreciated.

 

hi can anyone tell me how to unlock the key on sportster pro 1.10 image.
i have entered the keys and rescaned, i have all channels but the free ones are working and rest have padlock picture which tells me they are locked. how do you open them please let me know asap.
