Yes I definitely clicked home button to save it. As I said, box also wont let me delete files if I try, and FTPing gives me errors regarding file permissions. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there any way that the files on the box have been write-protected or anything? I didn't set this box up but as I can't change anything I'll have to flash the whole thing if I can't work out how to edit stuff.

 

if you follow theese instructions you should be o.k
1st pressdbox on remote control
2nd press 5 or service menu
3rd cannel scan 4th this is important PLEASE READ TILL YOU UNDERSTAND
CHECK LIST ON T.V
GREEN SCAN FOR SERVICES SHOULD BE AT ALL SERVICES IF IT IS NOT MOVE THE CURSOR DOWN TO SCAN FOR SERVICES AND PRESS O.K TILL IT SAYS ALL SERVICES
YELLOW BOUQUET SHOULD BE AT LEAVE EXISTING IF NOT DO AS ABOVE MOVE CURSOR DOWN AND PRESS OK TILL YOU GET LEAVE EXISTING
FAST SCAN OFF THEN HIT THE BLUE BUTTON TO SCAN
THE TRANSPONDERS ARE THE SATTELITES IN THE SKY
IF YOU NEED MORE HELP LET ME KNOW AND I WILL TRY AND HELP

 

you dont need to delete anything when flasing it will replace the new file its selfwhat area u in to direct you to a decent image plus just out of interest are you using vista

Iv just been able to change codes on dbox by following the different steps, the codes are as follows -

N 5401 00 9EBA8FBCFCBC8A88
N 5401 01 1D89F38CC4DC03CB

Some character are in lower case but i dont know if this makes a difference.

After savin the settings i go back to TV mode but still no luck all i get is the FTA Channels even after restarting.
Even changed from ROM 11 to ROM 7 in both lines of code. I have followed ever step that has been posted over the last number of days an still nothing. Ahhhhh. lol. Thanks in advanced.

 

alright billie22 just to say thankyou for helping us ,he will have another go 2moro and follow everything u have told us just to see if we can get back on for now but what he is going to do when he gets is head round it is ftp it. he have to be up early in morning so he gone bed and i dont want to mess with it case i make matters worse.....tempted though lol .....take care

 

Doestne matter about low case when you reboot it sets them to caps make sure its just nagra 7 rom enable and Evocam is too disable the rest and reboot once you have the right codes in make sure you press home after adding the codes and select save before rebooting

Yes but surely I should be able to edit stuff/change options? Wont I need to write to the box to flash a new image? A decent image would be great, I'm in E.Midlands, its a sagem dbox with a virgin (ex ntl) connection. Tried it on vista, but separately on a Mac and results were the same, can access fine but wont let me write/edit.

Cheers.[/quote]If ya go into my link below you will get a image for virgin flash it with that make sure your connected to the box via FTP make sure your ip on your box and pc aint the same when your flashing a new image via FTP the old shit will replace the new image if your using flash assit it will erase all the old stuff too then create it auto not sure if i have Service & boq files there too but wont be hard to find

 

BTW Vista is a C**T to flash with make sure u have the right connection on the back it should be a nine pin null connection if its a new pc they dont come with them u need a old one

 

Thanks oggnogg I have deactivated Rom10 and ROM11 keeping ROM 7 activated, hope this is what you ment.
When is come to Evocam, What is it as i cant seem to find it anywhere?
After deactivated the rom's i rebooted but still only got FTA!

 

please dont take this the wrong way but DO NOT under any circumstances post the keys, this is illegal and this forum/site could be sued by Virgin Media/Kudelski and also be shut down. Use the BigMaq toolbar to get the keys.

 

Depends on the image your using to know where its inbut id say its in in image menu under EMU Menu

Card is on

Auto Update is Actavted.

Still nothing, would this mean trying different codes just to see if thats the issue?

Just one thing to all relating to my last comment rebooting meaning power the box off from the wall rebooting from the remote sometimes doesnt work.There is still active power going to the board with a remote reboot

 

I have commando 6 running.
I put the new codes in place, saved the changes and rebooted.
I then left the box on for a few minutes and up came the channels.

I have emu set on mgcam
Nagra Rom 3, 7, 10 and 11 enabled.

 

hi oggnogg i'm having same problem as nelsal and i think were from about same area,cant down load bigmaq toolbar it says *****.exe is not a valid win 32 app, though i think i have right codes for n*l swa*sea, i have flashed 1 box(sagem x1)with andromeda 1.4 and other(same) with blade triny x1 both flashed easy enough with help from this site, both boxes have only fta channals. also cant seem to update nagrarom7.b*n flash assist says its not an image file hope you can help thnx

 

mgcm wont work with the new autoroll so enable Evo cam and disable the rest and get rid of Rom 3,7,10 and just keep 7 enabled and reboot both EMU & Cams then reboot your box
