Hey try this gonito Image upgrade and do flash without bootloader and reboot id say thats your issue

 

Meant to say not sure if cam and emu changes after that just make sure before you reboot

 

How can u tell a dbox1 from a dbox2 ?

 

open it up u will see eithier a AMD hip or intel chip there will be 1 or 2 of them on the board

Hi

i wonder if someone could be a gent and help me.

I was recieving all my channles on d-box until saturday i had to dicsonnect the main power to the box as I was doing decorating (arrgghh). But connecting it all back I went to turn it on a found out that I had no channels. i have tried doing a scan and have added the new codes in but am having no success with it.

Please can someone help me and instruct me what I need to do and where am going wrong.

I would be very grateful.....

looks like you flashed a 1x image to a 2x box or vice versa

you will need either a cross over network cable or a null modem cable together with IFA to flash another image onto the box.

 

I Have got all my channel working . But But once I have chosen a program to watch that it frezes. and cant change, then after a hour the hole box frezes and have to reboot. any ideas

hi guys billie22 has given great help along with henry. i have my dbox2 running slightly. i have got some sport,some movies and some music channels back. some of them are freezing slightly for a second or 2 but watchable. i have tried rescanning with fastscan off but cant get anymore channels or better quality pictures. i have been using bigmaq codes since friday in my area. is there a permfix for this ? do i need a new image? what is a null modem cable? where and how much? i am running sportster? thanx

I have loded the codes for both pure ntl and telepest, I have turned off the auto update and still nothing..

What am I doing wrong and what should I be doing .

hello, i have a bit of a problem that may sound a bit obvious, iam trying to change the codes, with afore mentoned methods..........

only thing is both the (home) and (dbox) buttons on my remote arent working, so i can save the codes ???

i know the obvious answer is my buttons are broken, but i used them on saturdy for sure as i ran a service scan.......... so i dont really think they have broken by themself??????

any suggestions... because i cant save the codes without pressing these buttons ???????????????????????????????
