what setting did you scan with

cable uk 6887

or cable uk 6592

try the opposite and turn off fast scan

why would this box have changed the keys when its been running fine since friday?

i have turned off suto update,how do i fix this?

if he has the new nagrarom 7 on his box you leave auto update on and it updates automatically.

 

he hasnt,i manually entered the codes,but it worked since friday then went blank.....my box has been fine since,i done both at the same time..

service scan?

 

sounds like one has the new rom and one doesn't. you should put the new rom on and turn on auto update. then you might get years out of it without effect.

 

just downloaded the flash image, how do i completely flash my dbox2

rescann does not find any channels on either frequency i have completely messed it up
i can ftp to the box can i flash it with the bradford image

 

hi peeps been reading through all the forums have had some help to off peeps like billie22. ozzy32 ,oggnogg, turner and others be damned if i can get this dbox2 sportster to flash , i not got clue wat am doing wrong , have set up name password ip address and am so close but nothing happening , i tryed the other way as well changing keys on tha bigmaq thing but tha dident work am trying to fxp it now it just not having none of it is there someone there can help me through this, i feel like giving up it such a headache...i would so be happy get this working

 

must be a bad image. you can use ifa or put the image under tmp on the dbox

looking to reflash completely to

 

check the box ip by pressing dbox and selecting network

select quick connect under file in flash fxp

type the ip from the box in the server box

username: root

password: dbox2

connect and put the image under tmp

then on the box exit the menus and press dbox then select service menu then image update\restore

press flash\read\write if not there pick expert functions

then pick flash whole image or flash without bootloader.

select the image and wait

 

downloaded it just have a go at installing it thanx bud

change the box ip to

192.168.000.003

and the two dns to the same

pick start\restart network on the box and then try to connect

that bradford image is afile not an image i think i placed it in the temp folder but could find it using Dbox2

 

put this file in var\keys while you have flash fxp set up

unzip it first (rar)

then leave it on a black channel for a few seconds (about 30) and see if it comes on.

if error channel not availible comes up on all channels do a scan with fast scan off.
