Nokia Dbox2

    yea your rite but if your in kein system you do need the null as the box dont have an ip no more (worst case)lol

    Thanks for the info. A friend of mine change the code for me but I wasnt there to see him do it.

    I think he said something about turning auto update off(?)

    I have no idea how to change any codes.

    All I know is, press blue, then go into Tux box com and go into Keys. Thats about as far as I can get with anything.

    I know the code is:
    6F 9B A2 32 50 67 36 57

    Do you or anyone know how to change the code to that?

    it happened me but i used ifa and have no nullmodem

    go to keylist under keys and press 4 (NOT OK)

    now download it its .img image file for the dbox2

    Thanks to edz77 and everyone else for all their help. surprised myself but followed edz's instructions for my Sagem box and all back on-hopefully to stay!

    If I can do it anyone can!!

    hi.

    ive tried so hard to get into the box, i even watched someone do it, but i still cant get into the box to flash it!!

    I went to the directory var/keys but in that file i cant find keylist.txt

    i have sportster 1.7

    could anyone help me out?

    if you ftp the new nagrarom7 it will auto update.

    you need flash fxp click ftp to get it.

    then get the rom:

    put it under var\keys

    i have done all of the above with the network settings on the dbox....

    i still get connection failed..

    heres what im doing...

    1)plug network cable into laptop.

    2)plug dbox in to wall,and switch on.

    3)open flashfxp

    4)click on nagrarom7 file and click "quick connect.

    5)enter the adress id as bove 192.168.000.003

    6)user/password root and dbox2 (lower case)

    7)click connect......and all i get is

    I have the same problem, i am using an ethernet cable is this the problem?

    are the wires tight and did you definately pick restart network. mine worked when i did that. try writing this as the server

    192.168.0.3 wthout the multiple zeros

    and port = 21

    proxy = default

    wish it was someone who can msn me and help me get this dbox2 sportster up and running i must be nearly there have dun loads now its going wrong for me anyone available who can help? and got theres working....i have dbox2 sportster pro from southwales

    heres my settings

    start network boot:eek:n

    dchp off

    ip adress,subnet mask,broadcast,all 192.168.0.3

    default gateway(never touched this) 192.168.1.1

    dns server 192.168.1.1

    anything wrong there you can spot?

    I dont see the option restart network in the network settings, am i doing something wrong?
