    im doing it this way
    get ifa (image flashing assistant) and get ready to flash (you don't need an rs232).

    waiting for dbox start. plug it out and back in after 2 seconds.

    it will flash. plug it out and back in when it's done.

    note: iv'e flashed with ifa and no null (rs232) plenty of times and no problem at all.

    yes your using the wrong image for the box kein is prob the worst state you can your box in if you dont know how to get it out again

    Can anyone tell me? I have a spare box Nokia DBox2 but it is dud, I wanted to try to get this fixed is it possible? So I have been reading the setting up a DBox2, it asks when you first turn on the box are there lots of numbers/letters on the LCD screen? Then it is in debug mode, when I turn on my spare box my LCD screen is all just green with nothing at all on it no numbers/letters does that mean it is in debug mode, is it possible to fix this? I do have time to work on this
    As my other box is working good since I changed the codes on Friday morning fingers crossed. should I risk the permanent fixed or should I leave it!!!!

    hi,re the new commander image how do i download the 3 files(serv and boq)i am using ifa to flash the box,but half the instructions are in german,i can flash the image but thats as far as i can get,i need to know how to download the other two,for some reason i cant connect to fxp,just keeps saying log in wrong.no problem connecting with ifa

    sorry what does this mean? are you reffering to my spare box or are you telling me to I risk the permanent fixed, and I dont understand what 7 10 & 11 fixes are!

    The ONLY way to fix KEIN SYSTEM or loading Kernel problems is by flashing your box using IFA,There are lots of tutorials in THIS thread.

    Ive got IFA but what do i flash it with ? ive got a step by step on how to do it but what would you recomend i flash it with ? thanx !

    To recover from Kein System error what image is the best to flash the dbox with ? im all set up ready to flash but i dont know what 2 flash it with ! help !

    hi there,im also at this stage...

    on my screen i have ip adress 192.168.000.003

    subnet mask 192.168.000.003

    broadcast,default gatewat and dns server all 192.168.000.003

    when i go to connect using the FlashFxp,it says "unableto resolve host 192.168.000.003 "

    any ideas help guys!!

    i had a comma in the ip adress,and fixed it,but now it just says "connection refused!!"
