Heaven001, you ought to google the bigmaq toolbar, download and install that. Once you have that you can then use it to look for waht keys you should be using.

Better still you can use it to download the fixes for the autoupdater which, once installed, (quite easy....look back at page 120ish for instructions), auotupdates the keys when they get rolled.

google and install bigmaq toolbar. On there you will find the latest keys, (if you want to manually input them), and the fixes for the autoupdater, (nagraroms 7, 10 and 11....although I only used 7 which worked fine). Once you ftp the new file into your dbox2 the keys will automatically update themselves when v'gin change them.

Hi,sorry I have been told I can’t give codes as it is illegal (which I did not know) but what I can tell you is go to http://www.bigmaq.co.uk and you will see on the left-hand side the BigMAQ toolbar and download it you will the see latest keys on the toolbar when you click it you will see your connection check the new code (it is marked) you the follow what you did the last time and you will only need to change one number,
Mine went off today before BigMAQ gave the new codes and I just changed 8 for a 9 and it worked in seconds!
    Good luck

Once the toolbar is installed you should see a 'latest keys' button which gives all the keys for the different networks. The one that has recently rolled is marked as new.

You can also use the toolbar to download the autoupdater fix, (under Updates/fixes). I used the nagrarom7 fix, (ftp'ed it into mine and me mates units), which stops the need for having to update the keys manually, (it fixes the autoupdater code so that the boxes update themselves when the keys change).

Try going to a blacked out channel leave for a few mins then go into the key list and see if you have forced new keys if not go back into a blacked out channel and unplug then plug in again, you want to try to force the new keys so you can edit them with the new ones from BigMAQ toolbar, Good luck

Hi to anyone who could help!!! I have a nokia DBox2 I need to start from scratch because I don’t think it has been debugged is it possible to fix? I would like to TRY to work on it would be a challenge, sorry I don’t understand links or letters like FTP etc so PLEASE bare with me, I will give anything a try! I do have a crossover cable & null/modem don’t ask me what I do with them, also this may sound silly when I connect the box to the pc do I need to connect it to the TV or even a portable? I have tried to follow all that has been asked & answered but I get lost! I do hope someone will be able to talk me through it but, I will wait until you have the time to spare, PM me if it is better! Thank you

There are plenty of guides to show you what to do, you will have to read through the posts and have a go and see what problems you run into.

Are you using key number 4 on your remote when selecting the keylist file. Hit key 4 then choose the line you want to edit and hit the ok button, scroll accross to the digits you want to edit, edit them, then press ok, home, home...saving twice on the way, (if memory serves me right?).
