    OK
here I go again, can someone help me?

    Model is Nokia DBox
    sportster 2002.net
    release rc006
    jboot 1.2.0
    moded by learn to fly.
Stopped working channels go black screen.
How do I get it to work, can do all except where it says to reboot, can't find this instruction or setting in the box menu.

I know it's frustrating to go over something again and again but any help would be great.

    Thanks guys.

All that have been posting messages containing useful information - thank you very much!!!!

I finally got up and running.

The waiting for time issue was fixed by just doing a scan.

Furthermore I reiterate the point many people have made - get the nagra files from the Bigmaq toolbar.

I have been using FTP via DOS command to move things around on my DBox.

However for those of you who want an easy way to communicate with the DBox, connect your Dbox to your wireless router and assign an IP address within the routers range.

Then download an FTP client with a GUI - CuteFTP is good.

Using an FTP client you'll be able to easily edit you keys file if need be, and more to the point move files around.

I thought I'd at my 2pence worth - but not doubt i'm standing on the shoulders of giants.

just to say that if anyone is still having probs with VM rolling keys, just download Bigmaq toolbar then from there click on: updates/fixes,Dbox fixes, 2x chipset(for Nokia). Then download and install the all new Laky-pro-1 image,it has auto update fully installed and will autoroll the keys if/when VM change them.I have done this myself and after doing a channel scan i get all channels without having to manually input new keys.
If some people are still unsure how to install a new image there are plenty of tutorials on this site to help.Just make sure you have 1) a crossover/ethernet cable. 2) a network card or router. 3) a FTP prog like flashfxp/cute ftp or similar (can be done also through IE).
I hope this helps a few people out.

    HOPE THIS HELPS

i have flashed four dbox2 boxes today so here is how to

    you will need

    laky-pro 1(from BIGMAQ tool-bar)

    Image flashing assistant (GOOGLE)

    null-modem cable

    patch/crossover-cable

Now we need to setup the dbox to use ftp easily via your existing patch/crossover-cable.

1.Get your dbox remote in your hand press dbox.
2.Select the settings menu press ok.
    3.Select network then press ok.
    4.Change ip address to 192.168.0.100
    5.Change subnet mask to 255.255.255.0
    6.change default gateway to 192.168.254.2
7.Save all setting press the home button.

Now plug your patch/crossover-cable into the back off the dbox.
Some off you might not have a rj45 lead spare, So use the one that the routers got
    plugged into.

It the lead that plugs into your current computer network card to the broadband box.

Now we need to setup your computer to talk to the dbox via ftp

On your computer press the following (windows only)

    1.Press Start
    2.Press my network places
    3.Press view network connections
    4.Highlight local area connection.
    5.Right click select properties.
    6.Scroll down to tcp/ip
    7.press enter.
8.Select the use the following ip.
    9.Enter ip address 192.168.0.105
    10.Enter subnet mask 255.255.255.0
    11. Enter default gateway 192.169.254.2

Press ok shuts the window then press ok again shuts all network windows.

using your Image flashing assistant flash you dbox2 with the NEW laky-pro image

when finished flashing turn of the Image flashing assistant

un-plug your box from the mains (then restart)

    select English

    press blue button

    select town (box will re-boot)

    scan for channels

    done!

    ps turn off your firewall

    good luck
