any idea why i cant get a stade network connection ?

 

dbox 2 - I did all that using cute ftp and put keys in from PC was working day before. The next day channels are blank. I have inputted new keys today from bigmaq toolbar manually via remote. Rebooted nothing happenend. Im scanning now and Scan Transponder is highlighted in brown and then say error in channel not found all highlighted in brown. Somethings not right. Will i have to change keys every day. And through cute ftp all the time. Please shed some light.

 

if you have a wireless device and you are connetced to it then your opening the ftp you will struggle disconnet from any other network ie disable them all except for the on you are using for ftp try that or anti virus maybe preventing you too

 

anti virus turned off windows firewall off `bought new cables if i ping the ip it works mabe 1 or 2 out of the 3 pings other one times out ive no wireless using cross network cable no other networks turned on

 

this is my dbox setting mark your down then enter these to your box

Ip address 192.168.1.110
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Broadcast 192.168.1.255
Default gateway 192.168.1.1
Dns server 192.168.1.1


then this is my pc settings enter these
ip 192.168.1.109
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.1.255

are you getting the rite user name and password?? CHECK THIS 1ST

 

im getting passed loggin (sometimes) username root password dbox2 ill go try your setting s on mine cheers

the 1 im using now is sportster 1.05 rc025

 

ok no probs try my settings see how you get on they never failed for me yet

 

Can anyone help please. I have put in the new codes and only have a few channels e.g sky sports, movies etc but cannot get things like living, nat geo etc. Am I doing something wrong or can comeone point me in the right direction.

just tryed it i got connection failed then i got something like
connecting to dbox2 - ip 192.168.1.110 port 21
connected to dbox2
220 wilkomen auithrer dbox
user root
connection timed out

 

i am stuck now maybe user name and password wrong?i did know how to get that info from the box its self ill try find it and give you he instructions

 

you must connect your cables directly to the pc and box not through your router

make sure you are using a null-modem cable and a patch/crossover-cable or the image loader wont work

 

not got a router mate i got the user name and password from the net didnt think you could change them but ive been passed that yesterday got as far as downloading list before it fell appart lmao need to go for now but thanks anyway for your help guys just need to keep putting in the codes by the remote for now

i got channels except the scrambled ones .
how do i turn a emulater on or a descrambler . etc.

Hi, I think my LCD screen is faulty or broken as I did what you said and no numbers are not showing totally blank,could it be broken? if so what would I do?
