Nokia Dbox2

someone please tell me what im doin wrong,downloaded the image (gemini), downloaded dreambox edit this wont connect to the box keep gettin Error: Could not connect to server,downloaded the rom 7, i have all the files but still not gettin anywhere..like the guy previously..i went in to change keys and there was nothing there, the gemini image i had flashed onto it had gone please some one help me before i smash this thing...only a beginner thanks.......

BIG THANKS TO ZAPPP64 & OGGNOGG for the help with loading the image via hyperterm , this has now worked but the file in your4shared folder oggnogg is not working i had to get another one , i am up and running now,
This was not that difficult to do at all,

do you have a dreambox or a dbox as these are two different cable box's (all be it similair in the way they work)

 

oggnogg thanks for help yesterday. i have flashed box with the andromeda image but it still wont pick up the channels or even the time. this is after both setting my location of which i tried the two dublin's and doing a channel scan. i have played around with it and tried reading all the threads. is there something very simple that i might be missing.thanks

 

have you copied over the fixed nagra files, as the original andromeda image does no thave these files.

 

yeah i know this does not have the kE*s , i am at work at the moment but i will do that later on, thanks for the heads up though.

Hi help! tried to down load the u-boot.mot file from 4shared.com/dir/6423171/b5ad6d47/sharing.htmlbut it came up as "unexpected error" help is there any where on this forum that will take you from switching on the DBOX and just using a serial cable contains all software in the correct order as it seems to be all over the place I downloaded a serial way of doing it but no software as much use as a chocolate tea cup?

 

ye i flashed them over after i flashed box with andromeda but cant even get any epg. absolutely nothin. im at a complete loss as what to do!

2. flash fxp. click > ftp <

3. nagrarom7 update > http://www.4shared.com/file/44158482/c6299f5e/nagrarom7.html

follow carefully:

1. plug an ethernet cable in to your computer and box.

2. go to dbox then network on your box remote.

3. go to flash fxp on your computer and pick file then quick connect.

4. type your ip address from the box as server
put user name as root
password as dbox2 (if using commando password is commando)
then press connect.

note: if it doesnt connect change your box ip and dns and default gateway the same: 192.168.000.003
and then pick start\restart network on the box.

5. once connected go to var\keys and put the file in and overwrite.

6. wait a few seconds and your box will come back on (if not after 2 minutes restart).

7. the box will now stay on and if it ever goes off reboot and wait.
you don't need anymore codes as the box will auto obtain them correctly.

auto update MUST be enabled.

if you need any more help just ask.

Thanks jampy3, and oggnogg for sharing all your files. I flashed the box with Commando 9.25 and Andromedia 2.0, but no luck in getting it going.

Has anyone else got a Sagem x1 Dbox and managed to get it going? If so what image have you flashed onto it??

ksingh309 i've got a sagem x1 flashed it with oognoog's andreomeda v2 x1 working o.k make sure you get the x1 version . you'll also find the rom7 file. and the service and bouquet files should be there also. are u flashing it right?

 

ive flashed my sagem x1 with the same image andreomeda v2 x1 and i go into the keylist and there's only 1 key, how can i get more ? also i cant find the updates so i can turn them to auto when i put the fix in any idea's guys ?
