Connect to the box via ftp and you need a crossover cable & Null cable

i agree,EVEYTHING anyone needs is somewhere on this forum, the same information with the same links gets posted every da on here.

i fixed all of the above boxes with a mixture of help from here and a good bit of internetf orum research, downloading, and trial and error.

when someone hives instructions or links on here, its always a good idead to copy/paste into wordpad and save in a folder on your desktop, you never know when you will need that info again.

the guys on here are really, really helpfull, but they are only human when it comes to gettin asked the same questions over and over again.

please have a good read around before you post a question thats already been covered 3 pages back in this forum.

    Hi all,

I have been updating the code in keylist.txt for just about 2 weeks now since the channels 1st all went off.

I lost all my channels around midday yesterday, when I went into to tuxbox commander to change the code in keylist.txt I notice that the file is now empty and show as 0 bytes. Also I have been getting the code from the bigmaq toolbar but I've noticed that this hasnt been updated this time, has the code changed over the last 48hrs or is there a problem with my dbox?

    Thanks

    Joe

unplug the box from the wall for 30 seconds.turn back on,and then see if the keys are back in.

but you are better just FTP the file that fixes the box.it saves all the carry on.

    Hi Bryan,

What file is this? I have skimmed through this thread but didn't think there was a permanent fix available. I am running a commando 5 img.

    Thanks

Hey guys, can any of you send me on a link to where I can get the latest Nokia DBOX2 image ? I'm in Dublin, so I'll need an image that can scan for NTL channels.

I need to flash the box badly....please please please post me a link to the latest image. I can find plenty of links to images out there, but I've no idead which is the right / latest image.

    Thanks.

I'm in Essex and have changed the code each time, rebooted and all has worked fine. I have also done the same with my mothers box and that has worked fine. I have just found out that her channels are still working perfectly.

I think this could be a case of little fingers pressing buttons.

Still will be interested to know if there is a permanent fix for this.
