some images dont have this option i flashed a sagem dbox just this morning with sportster 2.0 on it no joy of ftp to the box as the user n pass are not what they should be

 

Installed sportster because of the overwriting problems i was experiancing with pachino v.1 can any one PM me with a working service/bouqets xml for the tesside/middlesbrough area.

 

Hey im new 2 all this nokia dbox 2.

I've been reading threw alot of information on this forum about the dbox in generall and must say this is a great forum and hope you's can help me in the same way uve helped each other.

Abit of information about myself as im a new member,im 18yrs old at college and have my own flat, been wanting sky but the truth is i jst cant afford it so this dbox2 sound perfect.

so before i go out and spend around 140 pounds on 1 from an auction site i need a few questions answered please.

I live in aberdeen scotland is this a problem for area codes as ive checked bigmaq and they dont have aberdeen?

I don't have an internet supplier do i need 1 and is there a specific one i need??

Will i be using an antenna aerial for dbox2 cable does that work?

1st you need vir*in me*i*a installed as you need the cable feed
2nd you need a dbox2 in debug mode linux neutrino (important you look for that)
3rd its not about the place you live ots what area you are in ie tw ntl etc etc
4th most should come fully updated

5th click the link below everything you need for the box is there and prob every tut you need to get to know your box

Hiya two questions, firstly Ive been having trouble with the almost daily updates of the keylist.txt files (even after editing the file some channels dont work), I was just wondering about the structure of the keylist file. Bigmaq gives you two keys 'key 0' and 'key 1', which of the four keys in the file do I replace with the ones from Bigmaq?

Secondly as a long term solution to this problem (if there is any), is there some kind of image update I could do to my dbox to make it update these keys automatically... I've been meaning to update the image on my Dbox for a while but im not sure about the spec of my dbox, in particular do I need to know how many chips there are in my box (1x, 2x right? ) and if so how can I find out?

So:
Which of the four keys need to be replaced in keylist.txt by the two given by bigmaq?

What info or software is needed to reflash the dbox?

Do I need to know the spec of my dbox to update the image and how do I find out?

Its a nokia dbox 2, njl:world v1.1 shows as its starting up and neutrino is on the LCD also as it starts.

 

ok no worrys its a 2 chip then ill put a file on the link below my post in a folder called keys give me 5 mins then go get it basicly just ftp the whole folder accross to the dboxand your image will update and no more manuel input
