I got it working. Thanks for all the advice. I had to hold the on and up button together for about 10 seconds before it started to process.

 

hi all..
i got my dbox2 up and running easily using these guides and i thank you all..
the only problem i have is channel sorting..
they are everywhere in no particular order (when i press ok on remote(all services).
i would like them in maybe alpha order and maybe put all the adult channels at the end and ppv.
what is the best way to do this ? i been messin with boquet editor for too long now i am bogeyed)

use a bouquet wizard to sort out your channel listings. it's a free program available on the web.

ok..i am struggling to get my head around this bouquet thing.
i have hundreds of bouquet (most have 1 channel in them) some have a few !!
The bouquets have silly code names e.g. 1A3.
So it is not easy sorting the channels..
i just want to change the channel numbers .. so when i press the services button on the remote , i get some kind of order.
eg channel 1 is currently BABY TV lol which is on its own inside bouquet 1E6 i want to change this to BBC1 lol..its driving me nuts.
i am sure others have already ben thru this )

part of the documentation (PDF file) does at the end state if the flashing process does not start after inserting the power plug, the restart by holding the stand-by and up arrow at the front of the box will kick start the process.

 

any help with the bouquets would be greatly appreciated

Hi again all im still having problems i have tried two signal boosters but still nothing when i switch on the first screen i get is ERROR no channels were found please excute a scan (dbox key service
then i press the ok buttom them the arrow right key to move to channel 1 it says waiting for time ???

please help any one i was running sporter it was working on there i had 234 channels but th box kept freezing then i lost the channels i tried to re tune to no avail my friend said put commander6 on has he has had no problems he lives in nottm i live in portsmouth area i still cannot pick any channels up

The answer is in you own question, why aren't you performing a scan like you are being told by your Dbox? Use bruteforce, fast scan off, scan.

 

i have done a scan it finds 303 transponders but doesnt find any channels ??

 

Try setting your location, can't rember which menu it's in, or get a services file for your location anf FTP it to the ZAPPIT folder on the DBox.

i got everything now (inc box office and ppv live events)
everything apart from front row (or filmflex)

use a different image !

 

johnno4 try changing the cable provider in the channel scan settings or leave it scanning once transponders have been found as it can sometimes take a while 1 to 2 hours to find channels after transponders are found

 

Hi,,
I have a sagem box , when i done a channel scan i got 145 tv stations , but when i select a channel the epg comes up on the screen then all i'm left with is a black screen and the channel (skysports.....) is on the dbox display. Off the 145 stations only about 7 actually come through.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated
