Nokia Dbox2

Hi Aciddy , I have commando 6 loaded on the dbox , i have set the location , i've done a fast and a slow scan. The only differnce is now i recieve sky sports 3 ( as well as rte2 tv3 ,city channel which i recieved before)but nothing else. My EPG comes up and when it disappears all i have is a blak screen. I've left it on sky sports for a while to see if the signal would come through but nothing. Any idea on how to fix this

hey. can anybody help me. got the dbox working and have 142 channels but most of them are jumping/skipping. any ideas how i can fix this?

 

Have you done a scan for channels using cable system 6952 or did you try brute force scan.

 

How did you get the channels was it from doing a scan or were they there when flashing an image. If they were with the image you should do an update with a new scan. Otherwise sheck the ucodes

To check the UCode Version
Using Remote Control
press DBox Key --> Service - UCodes
The above may vary dependant on Image.
Change the UCode to 001A for Sagem or 0014 for Nokia

Hi.Sorry I am a bit of a thicko but I have downloaded the sportster image from a previous link and wondering how to burn it to a disc so I can keep it.Do I just use the img file and burn it,or do I have to convert it somehow.Thanks

 

accidy how do i change the ucode?

 

all the audio has gone off the dbox2..
channels still perfect but no audio...
i have tried the obvious !!
Any1 had this happen before ?

Am having trouble, please please help.

So got it all set up , Dbox2 - cable - neutrino , and wanted to play around with it.. ftp ok http ok all the channels etc. i log onto it with http so i can change channels and see program guide etc I put on a password so only i can access it, user : Marc pass : 1234 . So i refresh page and it asks me for the user n pass but i typed it in Lots a times. and lotsa variations of it.. and i mean alot 1324, 1223, 1233 etc also capitals.

what can i do to get back in? i also tried root & dbox2 only works for ftp.

Use Image Flashing Assistant and a Null modem cable then Flash the image back to the box and start again.

 

Hi did u find out how to unlock those channels? im having the same problem

 

i heard a bad thing this weekend...
ntl:virgin will parental pin code EVERY movie channel ! (not just 9 and 10)

u all know what this means ....(press red and input code)

obviously not an option on our dbox2 !
will there be a workaround ? any insight to the truth on this ?

 

Hya, just read your message and wondered, did you ever sort your problem out?
I have exactly the same problem, and have in fact now flashed three different images, with no success, and only getting basic channels, BBC1, etc. and as of now just packed it in unless I can find a solution. Thanks in advance Prendy
