hello i seemed 2have lost or deleted my ip address any1 know how 2put it bk in or how 2put in a new ip address???

 

Go to NETWORK settings and input one there, save, restart network. Sorted.

 

which is the latest sportster uk image ???

and where is the best place to get uk images ?
i currently use 1.73 .

id recommened commando 6 never had any problems with it, the latest sportster is Sportster Pro 1.08, have a look for links on the forums theres plenty there for u

 

i have tried commando 6 ..but i cant seem to get any channels at all with it.
sportster i have no probs

I use Commando 6 and have no trouble at all and prefer it over Sportster. Have you tried stetting your location in Commando? or putting a services & bouquets file in?

 

i have tried commando...
i have transfered new boutiques and services(from my sportster image) over to it...but no luck.
if its not broke dont fix it )

hi can anyone in the plymouth area help me with my box it is stuck in radio mode and wont go back to tv .the box boots up then after 10 secs keeps shutting down and wont let me do anything if i reboot just go through same routine and will not work with remote

I bought a Nokia dbox2 in Debug-Linux neutrino Mode from Germany. Following the 'Beginner's Guide' I successfully flashed 'Sportster 1.7+UK05' and then transferred my Local Area Services Files to dbox2. I plugged off and then on to let it rebooted. Sportster sign flashed and on the screen of the box Skysports channel was displayed. I then scanned the channel and at the end it was quite satisfactory as I found the following result;

TV RADIO DATA TOTAL
235 41 34 = 310

Unfortunately, ignoring or forgetting (as I was so much happy to watch the result)I didn't backup my .xml files after scanning using FTP which is problem for me now. The next day it stuck to a channel and didn't let me change the channel so I switched off the power enabling to reboot it but lost all the channel with a message "ERROR NO CHANNEL FOUND" Go back to Service scan for it. Hence, I several times scanned by following the same instruction but still no result except getting 33or34 transponders then starting from 1/34, 2/34, 3/34.... up-to 34/34 with the same message again.
I am a newbie and very much impressed by 'FEKKER' and Zappp64 so if they or anyone can help me to resolve the problem. Thanks

I forgot to tell you that I live in Essex-East London Area so I used service file for that Area i.e; London_East_ex_CW_NTL 6952.rar and used CableUK Sym 6952 setting in the scan service Menu. Thanks

hi lovebox...
if you put a services file in the tux/conf/zapit folder..
u wont need to do a scan..this is the purpose of that file.
just FTP the service.xml file for your area...and thats it ..all channels should be there without scanning.

It stands for File Transfer Protocol and allows you to transfer files between your pc and your dbox or another pc.

hi could someone give me a link to a 2xl flash image to flash to my new d box...the link it gave me in my noob guide doesnt work.

 

also are there different chips to intel and amd ones.
