Hi, I've had a sky+ box in my livingroom for a while (no subscription, cancelled it once i got my dbox) and I'm able to get the basic channels through there fine, including a few other 'adult' ones that I'd like to somehow get onto my dbox if this is possible?

Babestation and the like, channel 906 and up... they are free to air I believe as I can see them fine without a subscription... are these able to be got on the dbox?

    Hello again,
Just wondering if someone could give a clue as to what to do next? Should I just re-scan? I've put in the same codes as my neighbours box, with no luck.
    Thanks for any replies
    Sam

Do you know the ip of the box
    Will it boot
    Wot image is on it
    Try FTP
You dont say why you post the BOOTLOG
Makesure you only have one network card running when Flashing
And enabled to 10 and 1 half .......Paul

by the looks of it to me it looks like the comport is causing the problem i have had this issue when using a pci express card com port on my laptop, just loops then net net net net net n so on, so what i sugest is flash it as bigdunk said, or just try using ifa with just a xcross over cable works everytime for me....

I had a similar problem using com port with ifa, on laptop it shows that progress has stuck while on dbox it has completed and has loaded new image, but with just a x over cable works straight away no problems.

Hi bigdunc,Iv tried to do this but still no luck picking the channels up. It tells me to do a scan which i have thought i wouldnt have to do??? The box doesnt seem to be picking up any channels but it pics up the transponders? I tried FTP over 2 images and everything seem to be in the rite place but still nothing. Its the same as when i use the IFA with images that hav all files added? Is this the end of the Box??

    Hi all.

Still using the laky pro image, is there anything better out there ?

Get a bit of stuttering sometimes and missing a couple of channels, hasn't bothered me enough to sort it in the past but got a second box now so i can have a play and not worry about messing it up.

If it is a sagem get blade quad and use gbox to stop chirping, gbox will not autoroll, so leave it on evocam and then there is a function in the blade menu- press blue, and it allows you to transfer evocam keys to gbox.

It also has many other features that laky pro does not.

are you definitely using a crossover rj45 (not just a 'normal' ethernet cable) - this is the problem I had originally, which is why i'm asking - apologies if you're using the right cable!

    Hi bigdunc
Tryin to flash new image as box stopped workin - gets halfway thru start-up then re-boots and so on. Don't know IP as can't turn it on to check, but logfile from ifa says 192.168.0.202. Current image is sportster pro 1.1.4.

Tried using ifa with xover and with/without null modem - nothing happens without, but with null modem hallenberg logo appears on LCD, then 'lade software', then 'backup' with status bar and then it freezes - posted log in case it contained any useful info (means nowt to me!)

Spoke to lad I got it from at work and he says sounds like my PC thats not responding, rather than the box - any ideas? I read somewhere about disabling DHCP sensing (or something similar) could that be the prob? sorry to go on, lol, first post was too short, this ones far too long :) Cheers to everyone for your suggestions, together we will crack it (I hope, can't live without footy for much longer!!) Rob

dhcp is nt really needed to be disabled (media sensing) its a patch you apply to your registry..if the guy you bought it from thinks it your comp, then ask him to do the good thing and flash it on his comp!! see what he says...then if it flashes then it is a prob on your comp etc if it dont then it could be a prob with the box

Thanks 123turner - to be fair, the lad I bought it from has offered to reflash it for me, but I wanted to have a go myself in case something goes wrong again in the future - looks like I may have to admit defeat!
