Hi. I was just wanted find out if its possible to get an updated bouquets file, because my channels list is all over the place at the moment.

 

you will have to slog through it mate and use bouquet editor within the services menu on the dbox once sorted ftp them out and then save them so you will not have to do it all over again...

@paul how many of them do come back and help others thou? make tuts give advice etc .... very very few .... lol

 

wanted to find out, always been curious about this, when champion league is on sky sports extra, if its possible to choose between different matches available through the match choice screen. also wanted to find out about sky box office, i only manage to get this channel when live events are on eg.boxing,wwe crap. but when these events finish, i get movies on there for a day or 2, but then it goes off again until the next live event.Is this normal?

i've just downloaded the sportster pro 1.1 image. i already have a older spotster image on my box, i have been updating the code manually, but i think i should update the image now. should i just follow the steps in 123turners vid.will i need to replace the service files after flashing the new image, or won't this be necessary.

 

Back up the Full image befor Messing about ,If not sure mate
Extract service and bow ks to desktop
ReFlash your Image
Then FTP the service and Bow ks back to
var/tuxbox/config/zappit .................Paul

hey turner im about to attempt your method of flashing the dbox2!

but i cannot find IFA

i flashed myn around 6 months ago the hyper terminal way (i know, the longest way)

but now i want the latest firmware on my box, what do you recommend?

also has anyone got the link to download IFA?

i am currently running Nokia DBox2 2x AMD with Lacky Pro image.

cheers guys ! (the reason for me updating image is i went to scan for the sly 1 & 2 etc and i lost all my channels so i going all in for a new firmware flash with a new way of doing it!)

 

Blade Quad if you want to do more than just watch TV or Virgin 2.1 lite image, (nice cutdown image by PaphosAL).

You will find IFA and images in Eamos at the end of my post. If you are using PaphosAL's image, please download the readme and add ons file as there are a few things to do to get it up and running, (few minutes works).

No Thats certainly not where you want to start off. Just use Turners guide regards IFA or use FTP.

 

what it is. ive lost my null modem cable.

so i want to flash my dbox with the wireless method.

i have never attempted the IFA way of flashing the dbox.

I am assuming i cannot use normal way of IFA. As i dont have the null modem cable. only an ethernet cable.
