Nokia Dbox2

Hi could someone please help me i am trying to download FLASHFXP file, but can't seem to do.

I manage to get onto the following site.
http://www.filepedia.com/network_software/ftp_software/

when i select the Flash Fxp and then press the download button i get redirected to afterdwan site again.

If some can forward me the file i would appricate it or even a new link where i can download it from.

 

Hey guys ive lost/ cant remember my pin code.
Therefore i cant get in to services or parental control
Any suggestions?

Can someone help?

I bought a Nokia dbox2 from Germany (from ebay). Unfortunately, the plug attached is a German 2-pronged one instead of a UK plug.

Can someone tell me what I do with it now? I bought an adaptor but no power getting to it at all. Is this possibly a voltage difference?

I'm so disappointed, it said it was fully UK configured and all I had to do was "plug and play".

Am I being dumb?

Suggestions welcome!

 

European voltage is the same as UK. Hack the 2 prong one off and fit a UK plug. No need for earth. Often Europe uses black and white cabling. Put the black to live and white to neutral and fit 3 amp fuse.

Give that a go...

 

Hi, i have recently bought a dbox2, and am having problems
First of all my settings will not save.
Everytime i start my dbox i have to goto the miscellaneous settings page and Change "Load SPTS at Boot" to OFF and restart the EMU, I have tryed saving the settings but no luck, also when I try to save my networking settings they dont save also, therefore I have no IP.
This may stop me from flashing my box, im not sure

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED

 

When you change and save settings, switch the box off at the main. Do not put the box into standby before you switch the power off. This should then save your new settings.

Sky has renamed the channels.

You need to rescan the box, then they appear as SkycomedyHid, SkyDramaHid, SkyFamilyHid etc in your bouquets

yes this does work...but no working epg yet on the Hid channels

I have am from leicester evington area. I am trying to connect my laptop to dbox2 abut keep geting error message. such as below.

[R] Connection failed (Network is unreachable)
[R] Delaying for 120 seconds before reconnect attempt #3
[R] Connecting to 192.168.0.10 -> IP=192.168.0.10 PORT=21 (attempt # 3)
[R] Connection failed (Network is unreachable)
[R] Delaying for 120 seconds before reconnect attempt #4
[R] Connecting to 192.168.0.10 -> IP=192.168.0.10 PORT=21 (attempt # 4)

I have got the latest Service and Bouquet file and flashfxp program.
I have configured laptop same as advised on forumn page 6.

If there is anyone who can help me from leicestre i will pick you.

Thank mate done the job can you rename these movie channels back to sky movies 1 etc

 

If you do a scan with your fast scan off , when finished press home twice , the blue button twice and select restart dbox . This might sort you out.

 

you can rename the channels by editing your myservices.xml file.
but there is no point doing that. The channels names have changed and thats that lol.
for any1 that is still struggling with the movies ...u need to do a scan and alter your movie bouquet as follows....
PS on mine i have a channel with a working EPG but PIN LOCKED.
another without a epg..but works fine without a pin.

yes this is a pain..but it works until we get a permanent fix!!

I have manage to connect my laptop with the dbox.

I have tried to to transfer the service & bouquet file over to dbox. I have manage to transfer the service file over but can't seem to do bouquet file.
