Nokia Dbox2

Ever since the time change weeks ago my dbox 2 on sportster hasnt updated the time. I cant find anywhere in options to change the time, can someone please help me?

 

Are you sure you are using a sportster image? There is a time bug inside the commando 7.5 image.

Reboot the box with the standby button and the up arrow button at the front panel.

 

Right have got 2 dboxes one crashed wasnt getting any channels and after scouring the net decided to flash it. I think Ive killed it!! Flashed it with a shit image me thinks, now d box does nothing. What can I do if anything to get it back??? Please help and guidance would be gratefully received.

 

Use IFA and flash a other image.

 

How??? I have tried and not succeeded in doing this can you guide me please.

 

Is there any Mac Users on this thread, i need an idiots guide to set up my dbox 2 via mac, specifically flashing, channel editor etc. If someone can help it would be most appreciated.

This is a very stable image that works with no problems. Just select your location and scan.
Download it then click on Home

 

Hi all,

I have a Nokia dbox2. I flashed the Sportster image via ftp.. Got the message saying image successfully flashed. Rebooted the box, and its getting to the screen where it is saying 'Lade'(Loading), and not any further..

I reflashed using IFA and got it working and all the channels were there. However, when I reboot again it gets stuck on the 'Lade' screen again..

Please help! How can I fix this? Thanks..

 

I would try a different image. Or the same one again via IFA

Yeah, I tried to flash commando, and it flashed fine. When I rebooted box it still gets stuck on the 'lade' screen. I have used the same Sporster image for previous boxes (nokias dbox2) with no probs...This box just keeps getting stuck on loading screen..

 

I have had trouble loading commando while the box had sportster using FTP, and vice versa (loading sportster on a commando box). I now use IFA when loading commando on a sporster box (or vice versa).

One you get a kein system box it is harder to flash using IFA, can take 20 goes for me, but if it has a working image then IFA works fine, just takes a little longer than FTP

 

You might be flashing a 1x image on 2x box or vice versa. How many chips has it got?

 

2 chips (dbox2)and image is definately 2x image. Had exact same box before and flashed it with same image with no problems..thanks for reply. All help appreciated..

 

hey people i have already pm'd bluemoon on my problem but i was wondering if anyone could help me i have the sam problem as the guy hu started this thread i scanned for channels gettng 303 transponders and i only got jus over 100 channels no mtv no sky sports etc. can anyone help. the box was a friends who lives in a different area from me would that make a difference aswell as this i think my cable connection is split as i opened the blue box outsidemy house one leads went into the box and then was split into two on for my tv and one for the broadband could anyone please this is really bugging me

 

Remove all splitters and connect the box directly to the feed and do a scan.

 

thts how ntl have done it for me and if i remove splitters how do i get me net sorry if i sound rude
