    Hope someone can help.

I have a nokia Dbox2 and have just tried to reflash with the commando 8.2 x2 image. Upon restart the box will not restart past the loading kernel part.

I have downloaded an IFA from Hallenberg but this will not work for some reason. I have followed other instructions posted on these pages and it still will not work.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

With your box switched off at the wall load Ifa
When you get the warning you are about to flash push ok and power up your box at the wall
If it dont say flashing within 10 secs turn off at the wall and back on repeat this untill it says flashing in the LCD It may take an hour but it will go in the end

Did you use a cross over cable.........Paul

    Just select yourimage
    Network adaptor
    No null mowdem checked
    Push start
YOUR BOX MUST BE OFF AT THE WALL AT THIS TIME
WARNING you are about to flash
    Press Ok
And power up your box at the wall
Repeat this untill it says flashing in the LCD
If it dont say flashing within 10 secs
Switch off at the wall and back on untill it does ........Paul

    Hi Paul

The Tardis Image worked a treat
Love the cool dalek on the display.

Had to do a forced scan, but now have most of the channels.
It also came with some games LOL very 8bit style, but free is cool.

    Thank you big time

    Hi Paul

I have pm'd you as requested.

I have tried using the IFA and resetting. Finally got sick after 1 1/2 hours or resetting box and it still doesnt work. I bought a null modem cable and that will not connect either although it does make the pc window do something (cant understand it though as its in german/swedish or something like that)

    HELP!!! please :0)
