Also having problems streaming to pc using JacktheGrabber?

I seen a diagram showing the DBox using a wireless hub to stream? can this be done instead of using a Ethernet Cable?

Not to sure on the streaming set up mate sorry
I record straight to my hard drive via TV card
And just connect my d box to that
a1 picture and recording ....Paul

 

hello,recieved all your files...heres what i done,and got no result...

1)i connected the RJ45 cable straight from my pc to my d-box.

2)opened the flashing assistand,and chose the "tardis" image,and selected my network card,i then pressed "ok",and turned back on the dbox from the power point,but it never said "flashing" or anything....i treid 4 times this way..

do i need to set ip adresses or network settings etc?

No just keep switching on and off at the wall till it says flashing
No ip adresses needed for this
Some times it goes first go some times it takes an hour
Put the tardis on Top image that one .......Paul

 

got the tardis on it!!

what will i use as settings to scan for the chanels,as i dont seem to have any tv listings or chanels working.

hello big dunc.....i scanned using the following settings...

youare missing a scan setting
Can you select manual scan if not set my location againYour scan should look like this
Scan for services=All services
Bow k= Leave current
Cable provider=6952
Fast scan = on
NET ID =40984
frequ=619000
sym rate =6952
section scan off
Start scan
It has got to look exactly like this for your area
Was your previous service provider Tely*est
Lets know .....Paul
but i still get the same results as befor i changed the image to tardis......is there somthing im missing still?

i have set the net id thing to north lanarkshire telewest...and still im getting no joy....

any ideas?

also,is there somthing that can sort all the chanel listings uot without me doing it manually?

i gave it a reboot..and its sorted!!

my only prblem now is...is there a file or somthing i can do that will sort the chanels into categories..like..movies,sport etc?

my god...its STIll fecked...its just the exact same,it worked partially for about 3 minutes,then the encrypted chanles started to go ...


any ideas?

plus..the chanel sorting thing as well?

when i reboot,it workes for a minute,the sky sports etc,but after about 2 minutes,all the encrypted chanels start to go blank..

is there something else i need to adjust?

i seem to have got it working..i just left it on,and when i came home,it was all cool..i maually entered all the chanel listings too..seems fine,all movies,sports etc...

Have Virgin/NTl just rescrambelled the channels as I hav lost all including Free To Air Channels???

moschops i am in the same boat here in Dublin, tried to rescan but nothing. I am still getting a few channels but the rest just blank...doh..... Can anyone of you guys point us in the right direction?
