all, can someone help please?

I got my dbox2 last week, the problem I'm having is that it seems to pick up channels but it doesn't display any video or sound, it just says "waiting for epg". Some channels have the epg displayed but no video or sound again:-(

It's got sportster 1.08, I've loaded on services and bouquets files and the above keeps on happening.

Its scanning on bruteforce uk, the other alternatives (2 like cablesys8374) don't change the outcome.

I've left it on a channel etc skysports2 for 20 minute but nothing:-(

Any ideas anyone? please?

 

Wot seems to be the problem with the movies mate
If you have rescanned you should have all the movies
They will prob be in a bow k named
Others
Or Andrea
Or Unsorted but they will deffo be there
All the Movies that end in HID you will be able to veiw
Just move them back to the right place with your remote

alright paul mate can get the movies with sportster but when i flash with commando 7.5 carnt get them i think i need keys for them can u help thanks mate

You need to unrar them
Copy all the contents of the folder to Var/keys Chommod 755
And that should do you .....Paul

 

commando 8 is not working well yet its not configured well because after the scan is done it shows the chanel with the epg correct but it says error in channel or somehting similar i have found commando 6 to be GREAT!!!

Hi there, can anyone help me Ive bought a Dbox 2 from Germany & when NTL changed to Virgin, I havent been able to regroup my channels as a lot have been renamed. I cant even add channels or delete them from the bouquet.

 

Can you turn over channels
Can youacsess the service menu
Wot image is it Wit happens after you power down from the mains and reboot .............Paul
