Alpha ETC punjabi - its a foreign channel from india?

Just wanted to know do you have to update your software or image to get the newer channels on the dbox?

My box is about a year old and never been updated? Is it called flashing or image update? All i know is that it has sporster on it?

I got a dbox2 but couldnt get any channels.

I have managed to flash it using ifa and the sportster 106 image. I still cant get any channels it comes up with

"waiting for time"

i also tried a scan and now it shows a list of about 20 channels like blue movie and premiere sports still has "waiting for time" and "channel not available"

Does anyone know what is wrong?

try using hyper terminal(built into xp)...with just a null modem cable....
worked recently for me

 

hi everybody, can you help? I have updated to Commando8 and done a sca, I have got loads of chanels, but most of them I get no sound or picture. The boquets seem to have scanned OK also the EPG shows all the chanels and the progs and times they are on. I get a yellow key shown on the screen, has this anything to do with it? any help greatly appreciated,

Commando images have NO keys in them...
u must download the magic files (keys) from the usual places.
Then ftp your box and add them in the correct directory.
reboot
then bobs your uncle

hi everybody, when I FTP my Dbox with SmartFTP, I can access the box but cannot log in( I am using username root and password dbox or dbox2, but it is no good). If I use internet explorer I get Yweb and list of channels, can anybody help? thanks in advance,
