ihave a similar problem only my box keeps resetting itself at the lade screen theres no way round it, its impossible to use, been looked at by 2 people who say its gone but i'd like to get it working again.

 

Connect a nullmodem cable and check the bootlog.

 

help!!! i need to scan in my d box and i have forget my pin code, is there a master code for the d box?

 

Hi... can anyone help me, ive just bought a Nokia D-Box 2 from germany, it works fine and ive got all the channels i expect... BUT, I dont know how to turn off the blind running commentary that describes what people are doing in scenes of tv shows and movies!!! how do i turn it off! its driving me round the bend??

Sorry,I bought it from Germany and it was already flashed so all I have to do is plug and play.But i was under the understanding that
pre flashed d-boxes didn't pick up all the stations.
Is it not the case that you have to manually tune in some of the stations? Thanks for the advise....

Hi newbie,looking for a bit of advise please.
I received my new d-box 2 from Germany today and i'm running it through Chorus Digital.My mate in work bought the exact same d-box from the same seller only he's running his through NTL.He advised me on the settings for the Service Scan but it took me over three hours before I was able to find the stations.I was running it through my Chorus box but it would only work direct to the wall socket.Also my mate advised me to do a scan with Cable provider CableUk Sym6887 but eventually I found the stations searching under Chorus Bruteforce.
Anyway I finally found the stations and they were working fine but i
pressed one of the coloured buttons on the remote and it went in to Sportster,when I tired to exit it just started to hang.I eventually had to powered down but now most of the stations aren't working.Only the music stations and a few other ones like the crap euronews.I have rebooted and re-scanned several times but still can't get the majority of the stations to work.I'm desperate at this stage so any advice would be really appreciated.Thanks!

Yes I got it sorted in the end.I looked back through this topic at
similar problems and somebody advised to the following and it worked a treat;

Sportster
Blue on remote
Emu selection
Restart evocam
Comm 8 Settings
Active softcam Enable megcam and restart
