Nokia Dbox2

Hi i just got a Nokia Dbox. when i swith it on it comes up

Bestaresearch digital broadcaseing solutions

and then shows a screen with

but after this the lcd screen just goes blank and nothing shows up on the tv through AV??

Neone got any suggestions on what might be wrong?????

 

It looks like its in Debug mode
Try and flash an image on it .......paul

 

aye it sounded like it ws in debug mode to me too but when i was reading how to put an image onto it you have to get the ip address from the dbox to ftp the image but i dont no what the ip address is as it wont let me get into the settings as it doesnt load? any suggestions?

is there even a way of gettin it out of debug mode?

 

Hi, recently some channels including setanta sports 1 and rangers tv, were playing up, there was no image and the soound was on and off. Anyway i did a scan and after it had finished went back to sports channels and realised the channels had dissapeared, so i checked in others and still no luck. Ive tried scanning several times still no luck,

any1 else have the same problem, any1 knw how to cure it?

Got the the channels back but same problem as before - no picture, but a stuttering sound which is not clear??

try changing the cam or ucodes think mgcamd and 1a are supposed to be fairly stable

im very new to this dbox2 as i have had the old pace 1000 box. i have ordered my nokia dbox2 from germany and should be here any day now. i just wanted to know if there was a beginners guide to setting the dbox2 up as i haven't got a clue how to start. details of the nokia dbox 2 that i have bought says its in debug mode and says Fully Configured for you and loaded with BEST UK IMAGE AROUND.

any help would be much appreciated.

 

...I'm currrently using a nokia dbox 2 with sportster and looking for services.xml and bouquets for birmingham...anyone know where I might find these files?

I already have more recent versions of birmingham services and bouqets, Im looking for services and bouqets more recent than about July of this year...

 

just make ur own up 7lynx with (((Bouquet Wizard))) add what ur want and del what u dont .

 

can anyone tell me how to gedt my keys on commando 7.5 . I have flashed the image and when i do a scan it cannot find anything

 

have u set ur location

On commando 6
Push blue button on remote and set your location first if u have not
Via net id setting
Scroll to your location push ok
Box will reboot and be ready to scan
just make sure both Sym rates are correct for your SP
6952 telly*est 6887 Nthell
and ftp over ur Keys to /var/keys

and i may i sugest u udate to 8.5 or 9 commando

Hi Paul - hope you can help. I have a D-Box2 Nokia and have just flashed the Sportster 1.10 image on it. On booting up the D-Box everything is in German and no English channels found. I live in Tyne and Wear(England), This is the first time I have attempted this. What do I do next to get the box going again.?

The image you have flashed is not a uk modded image by the sounds

1 or home .2 then Visit My account -page ... 3 Your private messages.... 4 Compose a private message
