May be i dont understand how the boxes work then i thught they did when got my box from germany i just scanned and that was it dose that seem right

 

it all depends what image is on it and if it has been modified for use in the uk

Hi!I bought a Nokia D-Box 2 Cable with Linux Sportster Pro (UK Edition) from Germany a few weeks ago. I set it up and scanned for channels, no transponders come up and at the end it says error no channels found!!Could anyone help me please!!!!!!!!=)

I am on ch**us in Swords, Dublin. I have tried a few images, but I am only getting Euronews coming through, the rest just give me a correct EPG but a blank screen and no sound. Is this an Emu issue? I am using Blade 2.x final atm on a Nokia Dbox2. Any advice on how to sort this gratefully recieved.

Restart the cam on the remote see if that helps

I tried that last night and had no joy. I think my dbox is quite old as it as fine with Sporter but definately chuggs with Blade.

Has anyone got a working image for Ch**rus in Swords / Dublin, once I am sure I have a working image I can then try and understand what the emu issue is.

Tnx for the reply, I got the blade version I am using atm from there, it doesn't include my provider in the set my locations, but I am fairly sure from my subbed box that its 322000, 6875 and 60, so I will do a quick scan again tonight with these options populated. Which image would you recommend please?

Once a scan has been completed should the box automatically do the Softcam emulation and decode without any settings being tweaked?

Ok I got it sorted, It was to do with the emu settings, I randomly fecked around with them, rebooted a few times and bob's your uncle.

If there are any guides to Emu / CAMS around I would love a link. I changed the cam to EVOCAM then changed the ucode to 001A (I think) I was just randomly messing.
