Nokia Dbox2

Please help
Got Nokia d-box 2, and cannot get rid of the audio description
Have tried to press the green key, and all I get is the radio.
Have then tried going to dbox, settings, and audio, but then I do not have an option to "turn selectable audio to on"

Getting v frustrated, as it's now on more channels than ever

Reflash with a Differant image ,or follow below



Press dbox,settings,key setup,Tv/radio mode, select no key
Press home then user menu green,hi lite 0 and press ok untill it says audio selection.
Now home until you can press red to save settings.
Now try the green button.

Have followed instructions as far as TV/Radio mode, and selected no key, so no longer get radio everytime i press the green button, but then when I pressed home, I cannot find a user menu anywhere. Been through all menu screens and not spotted it.
Sorry for being thick but not very technically minded
not too sure if listing all the menu's i see would help you but here goes: 1=video, 2=audio, 3=parental lock, 4=network, 5=recording, 6=movie, 7=language, 8=colours, 9=LCD, 0=key binding (where I went to find TV/radio mode), blue=audio player, and yellow = miscellaneous
Currently got movie with Audio desc, so can easily tell that I have not got rid of the setting yet.

BIGDUNC alright bigdunc just need a bit of help i flashed my dbox with a working blade image but i only recieve 109 channels so i put commando 8 back in and still only reciece 109 channels but i have star view box an recieve all channels do you think my d box is recked thanks mate

 

It only Finds 109 channels
Or finds more and only displays 109 channels
Try it on another feed ,Location..........Paul

someone has asked me to flash their sagem dbox.wil the dbox flashing assistand work along with a dbox 2 image?or do i need other stuff.

any help is appreciated guys!

You can us ethe Flash assit butyou cant use the dbox2 image on the sagem you gotta open the box and see how many chip is on the board which can only be x1 or x2 so if you go to my link below you will get all the images and files you need

 

hi mate,i have the lid off it,but where are the chips i count?

its a sagem box,old looking,sort of greyish in coulur,the model i think is a dnt1248-v90-d it says its a dbox KT.

any helps well appreciated,and also could you recomend an image from your link?

have alook at the inside you will see how many chips are in it i would say u have 2 intel chips in that box just double check first

use the andromeoa sagem x2 image in my link and the dublin boq & service files in the other folder

i have another problem.

i have never used a null modem cable or flashed a sagem box...i got the image you recomended in the flash assistant,and i press start,and plug in the box,a lot of writing comes on the screen,but the box never actually says FLASHING.What am i doing wrong?

there are some options ,but i didnt press anything,they were ..

1)console on null
2)console on ttyso
3)console on framebuffer

can you help me out?

MANAGED TO FLASH THE SAGEM BOX,BUT IT SAYS CHANEL NOT FOUND ON EVERY CHANEL(OR SOMTHIN SIMILAR)I HAVENT GOT THE REMOTE TO DO A SCAN,DO YOU THINK IT JUST NEEDS A SERVICE SCAN?

DBOX2 IN SPAIN, The story continues....After 4 months of trial & error I appear to be one step closer to getting the bdox working in Spain. I removed Commander6 & flashed Enigma onto the box which gives the options of QAM settings (I still don't fully understand what this means, but anyway.....) then by ticking the box [INV] what-ever that is! Hey-presto a scan found all the available TV & Radio channels. So far so good. All the radio & S*y News work fine, but I think these are not encrypted in the 1st place. I get the EPG on the remaining channels but no picture/sound. So... at least I know the box works (result ! ) now I need to know how to un-scramble the remaining channels. Any Ideas ? Gracias Amigos

 

Just been round my mates house, pluggin my dbox in and picked up the same channels that I was getting at my house,plug his dbox in at my house and I get all the channels that he has got, so its my box, still picks up over 300+ channels when scanning,but only offers 130ish when select the channel list, is my box blocking channels? am i doing something wrong? Can any body help? I was going upgrade but i dont know how? It came to me from germany with the software installed (commando 6), I got no cables, and no clues on how to do?

 

Hi everyone.

I just need some assistance with my Nokia Dbox2.

My Dbox2 is displaying the following characters on the lcd (can't type the exact characters as there are stripes on the lcd):

BMon V1.0 MID
feID
fpID
65.33.02.07
HWrev
B/EX/F

It just turns on to that even after pulling out the power supply, nothing on the TV screen, nothing works in regards to the remote.

I've tried connecting to it using flash fxp, but I can't connect to it (maybe it's my poor skills on the flashfxp). Where do I download the flashing files/images from?

So does anyone have any ideas? Anyone else ever had this problem?
