Disaster!
I recently moved to Ireland and have been trying to get my Dbox up and running. So, I tried a variety of things, like different service files but I could not find one for my area. So I came across an updated copy of blade (from a 4shared.com) and flashed it to my DBOX. The process seem to go fine, but then my DBOX ceased to fully load. It gets to the stage of showing an image but no further. I have been using my DBOX for a year now and made sure I had the X1 version to go with my Sagem. So I am stumped! Can anyone help?

 

try another image some are dodgy n just duds ? just a thought tho ?

 

I would but my DBOX is no longer fully loading, therefore I do not know how change where it is currently getting to...?

 

Can you flash it using IFA ?

 

i agree thats prob best way to do it now if dbox not fuctional?

I have downloaded the two files in the image flash tools. There is two files called setup_dboxifa.exe and image2box.exe. Are those the ones?

 

yes that them when you install it it ll be called dbox2 image fash assistant if you have not used it before get the pdf info so you know what to do etc

 

Thanks, last question... Will this IFA work without the DBOX finishing its initiation? If so, do you have suggestions when I should use the programme (ie connect before power up or power up and use whilst in frozen state)?

have you read the faqs for it ? if not have a read it ll show you step by step but id start the program with it connected and dbox on then just sit back relax

has anyone got any updated keys. I think virgin have changed the keys as no channels are decoding. Anyone with any ideas.

 

Yeah same, Turned my TV ont today and all my channels have gone. Anyone have any new keys?

 

Seems VM are sendin out smoke signals n playin games again ... Turned my TV on. Only channels 1 to 5 were showing, rest had no picture or sound however a scan seemed to sort it for 5mins then it went again... sum good footy on 2nite as well !!

 

Same here in South Wales. Kids channel, (cant remember which one they were watching), froze and no matter what I do to the box, (basically tried changing the CAM's and forcing the keys to update), all the pay stuff has gone.

Is it worth trying to put a new image on it or should I just leave it for a while, (bearing in mind Ive never attempted a new image in the 18 months Ive had the thing)?

OGGNOGG thanks for your help yesterday evening i know liverpool are playing tonite so i dont wanna hassle ya, but the dbox2 went again today is it a matter of obtaining a new key list file and transfering that?
