Nokia Dbox2

Hi Sean,

Just wondering though ... if new codes are posted can we update via remote control on a dbox or does it have to be done via PC?

Also if it can be done on remote ...is there any instructions on how?

i dont know mate ive been looking at it myself and i cant work it out best bet is to ask a Member or junior Member they might be able to help

hi already posted this but cant mind where so cuttin this 1 short. the dog sat on remote for d-box and now only have 5 channels, tried messin about with it but nothing restores the channels i had, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

 

hi again guys i just updated my dbox ie re flashed it started all over again scan resulted in finding 349 channels thats all services .
only ones on are channel4 + 1 n 1-5 all im getting is black screens im getting all the epg but black screen

your dog must broke all the uk dboxs then lol as all ours have gone off now .... darn that dog ... lol

 

a'll shoot the dog for all of us lol but some 1 did mention that it came on at 11am as did my 1, really annoyin me just a can get it sorted b4 7.45pm cant miss the football lol

 

hi new to this forum my nokia d-box has just gone blank aswell. can anyone help me and tell me what to do with it. it went blank yesteray evening and came on at around 10pm for about 10-15 mins and went blank and still is.
tried scan but still no luk. can anyone help PLEASE

I have lost all the channels yesterday evening except terrestrials. I rebooted, but no result then I scanned twice still no result. I am living in East London Area (Essex). CAN ANYONE HELP ME?

I have checked keylist.txt in Tux box commander and on screen /var/keys/kelist.txt, I found the List of 14 codes out of which six are latest of 8 April 2008 and two are of March 18, 2008 as follows;

i am in same area as u but i got no channels dont think any one knows whats happening im just sitting and waiting to see what happens

 

I have heard that Richard Branson has got his hands on Telwest and everything has been redirected and distributed from somewhere else in uk so all regional keys are now defunked

a little obvious but there seems to something wrong with the codes that are being updated.

they are constantly changing.

i cant use the codes that some people have posted on here due to the fact then are area sensitive . ie mine was ex cable & wirless then NTL then virgin media so they begin with 5401 00 FF & 01 ED resepctively. the old telewest codes begin with something else.

mine and my mums just came back on without any intervention like some others so it might be prudent to wait it out. VM could be finally splashing out loads of R & D on cracking this and sending out rogue codes that the auto updater cant figure out. i called Virgen media last night to inquire about any problems but was told there wernt any and they were gonna send some signals down to the box( cable box not dbox).but the signal was fine.
im sure there is someone who will coome up with a solution but in the meantime im gonna get to grips with the ftp method cos thats the way we all may have to re program the Dbox.

im hoping VM are carrying out some work as it has worked for a short time since.

ill keep listening on this forum for any further developments.

anyones dbox working still? if so what area and provider are you? im in norfolk on virgin box worked for 10mins then went off this morning.

 

hey oggnogg just downloaded ur new andromeda file is this a new keylist do i save it on my pc as a keylist file and then transfer it

 

i would not bother, virgin are ramdomly generating new keys constantly.
