hi can someone please talk me through how i update the keys please

 

Hi

Running Sagem DBOX in Belfast. Was about to watch match on RTE2 but it went down as the match about to start. All others apart from basic ones down. Anyone any ideas of codes for here although it seems they may not work for long?( if at all ).

 

Can someone please post working keys that need to be changed / updated on the dbox?

box with sportster pro 1.05 5a01 00 541ece02b2587986 you may need to turn autoupdate off. doesnt seem to work with commando image because i cant turn the autoupdate off.

 

hi guys,if you go back 5 or 6 pages there is a detailed guide on how to change the keys,as for the latest keys,download the toolbar quoted.

i have tried changing my keys,but im afraid my box still dosent work.....

i tried changing the two latest sets of keys begining with 00 and 01 ,and swapped them around,but still no tv chanels except freeview.

do i need to scan again when i have changed the keys?or does the box automatically find the chanels when the keys are edited and the box is rebooted?

anyways,any help to a dbox 2 (nokia) owner in north lanarkshire,would be appreciated greatly.....

Hi what code is it from The BigMAQ files? The Pure NTL doesn't have enough didgets and neither does the Telewest?

The codes on the Telewest toolbar are:

54 1E CE 02 A2 58 79 86

B5 AA 58 2D 64 5E E1 05

I cant seem to get bigmaq toolbar to install, got the d/l but on install it says win 32 read error. Anyone have codes for ex c+w south east please i need telly.

 

the keys from BigMAQ's toolbar seem to work for our area

im form the pure NTL area in surrey which streches around london.

just tried mine and my mums and they both work dont know for how long.

he has the codes for all the areas if you dowmload his tool bar.

try putting the ns401 and 00 in front of the codes or ns401 00 in front

Have you turned the auto updater off?

 

the boxes seem to be autoupdating to the wrong codes everytime you put the right codes in. ive turned my autoupdate off and loaded keys (above) and for two hours all is well.

 

you only have to change the last 8 pairs mate, leave the prefix ie N5401 00

 

i done it Scoopdogs way and i forgot to save and i rescanned straight away , and i lost my keylist , now i cant put any new keys in , can anyone tell me di i need to reflas a new image to sort this out

Hi, this is how i got my DBOX working -

1 - press the blue button on your DBOX - and got to option 6 Tuxbox commander.

2- then scroll down to the option that says "var" and press ok
3- scroll down to "keys" and press ok
4- scroll down to "softCam.Key and press 4 (to edit)
5- If your like me and are in the Pure NTL area your codes will start like N 5401 00 etc etc, press ok on the 1s6t key which starts with N 5401 00
6 - Type in this key after 00 - 46896D870724422F
7- press ok to exit then go to the key which starte "N 5401 01"
8 - type in this key after 01 - 9128EFB57B371FED
9 - Press ok to exit then press the button under your power button (under the orange button) and save changes when asked.
10- finally change your cam to the "mgcam" by going to the extras menu (number 4)

you should be getting the channels now.

 

might be an obvious question but how do you turn the auto updater off on the nokia dbox (i'm using the sportster image)

Hi mate ... understand you only have to change the last 8 pairs but which rows do you change in the keylist.txt file as I have 3 of each but only the 01 is updated and the other 01s are all old...
