So, I've been trying to figure this out all day. I downloaded a movie and the files are named afo-xvid-straightheads.001, afo-xvid-straightheads.002, etc. And then .nfo and .sfv
Now, I can play the first file in VLC, but none of the others.
I joined them all together using HJSplit, but when I try to play it then, it only plays the length of the first file.
    What am I doing wrong?

    I'm using a Mac.

VLC supports rar files I think, so it could be that it was rar set rather than a split file.

Daygirl, I had the same problem as you, but did the following:

Open the first file with WinRAR. In your case 'afo-xvid-straightheads.001'

When the WinRAR application opens, click on the above file and press the 'Extract to' button on the toolbar. Then choose the destination for your file.

Once extraction is complete, go to the destination you extracted your film to and BINGO, your film will be there full and complete.

Choose which player you want to use, sit back and watch the film (Once you have, let me know here if its worth watching).

    Hope this helps.
