I r having a problem burning a downloaded video to dvd with the sonic MyDVD wizard(v4) First i click Transfer Video Direct to DVD from the menu. THis takes me into the My DVD Direct to DVD wizard i follow the steps and then i click next. it comes up with a progress bar and on the progress bar it says unknown device error - please check on device. i am using a HP DVD writer 200i (200j in properties) with windows xp.
Yo pal, HP DVD writers normally comes with their own bundle software like, Sonic MyDVD, RecordNow, Arcsoft Showbiz and most of the ime they are having conflict with Easy CD Creator, Nero Burn, etc. By the way what format is your downloaded video? What I usually do is to create new project, select menu screen, get movies, burn Disc. If you just want the movie itself without menu, I'll suggest that you use Arcsoft Showbiz instead which you can do editing as well. Off course my best solution is to upgrade to RecordNow Max.
