not sure if this is the right forum.....

    well i didnt see any forum on converting rm, but neways i would like to know if there is a program or a way that i can convert rm to avi or any other format that is viewable on windows media player.

    All help is appreciated, ty

    Google "convert rm to avi".
    There's a few programs, EO video is free (I think).

    it like worked.... but totally killed the quality... is there a way to keep quality?

    Do the conversion at the highest bitrate possible.
    Play with the settings, until you get something acceptable.
    Because RM is so compressed, when you uncompress, then recompress to avi, you're going to lose something.

    the quality was killed when the file was converted to rm format.....as the ol' saying goes.....garbage in = garbage out
