Ok well i just got a dvd burner. I went all through how to do it using shrink. I'm not at the actual burning stage.

I'm burning at 2x, but everytime i get the same error at the same point

    Some power calibration error

    Generating DVD high compatibility borders
    Generating DVD borders completed succesfully
Then burn process failed here everytime

Perhaps try ripping it to your hard drive first with DVD Decrypter (free program) then use DVD Shrink in re-author mode to just extract the main title and then use Nero or DVD Decryter or whatever copying program you use to burn it.

yea thats what I did, ripped it to the harddrive with dvd shrink. Then i edited out all the un-needed stuff like bonus features(just kept main video with english audio), now i go to burn the files with Nero 6, and I get this error everytime

Try ripping it to your hard drive with DVD decrypter and then use DVD Shrink just to extract the main title.

Have you tried using Decrypter to burn? Just set your target device in Shrink as ISO image and burn with DVD Decrypter

I had a Lite-On CD burner that did the same think. I was told it was my media. So go buy a better brand of blank DVD's.
