    Hi all,

I'm in the process of choosing a laptop for uni.

    I have a 22" widescreen, resolution 1680x1050.
I'm looking to buy a 12.1" lightweight laptop, with an Intel GMA950 graphics chip (i.e. not a powerful GPU that is likely to rape my battery).

I was wondering if i will be able to connect my laptop to my 22" and display at 1680x1050, rather than the laptop's 1280x800.

If not, would a laptop with a proper GPU be able to output to those higher resolutions?

Any help is greatly appreciated, and any suggestions for 12.1" is also very welcome :D (Am looking at 12.1" with Core2 2Ghz)

well, with this little gadget, you can connect two screens to use dual screen, although you will loose many of the graphics. This is mainly for office users who DONOT play games.

    USB to SVGA Adapter
