You need to see if it is a clone or genuine box, as you will need to update it.

Go to the link at the bottom of my post marked Starview Info Dobby2oon, click the link then click clones this will help you decide.

Ok you need version 4 firmware. You can find this in Eamos FTA Library at the bottom of my post. You will also need a null modem cable like this

You can also download the Starview help guide PDF in Eamos Library, you will find it in Starview Documentation folder. This will tell you how to update your box. It is quite easy, but if you have a problem just come back and ask.
