based on all the sales people i've seen at office max, i'd say the only requirements for working there are 1. you must be at least part human 2. you must have a pulse. other than that i'd say it's open for anyone.
Office Max doesn't have the market cornered on that.. I've been in a lot of places.. Office Depot, Circuit City, Radio Shack to name a few where the help was clueless.
There are always exceptions to the rule geestar. No offense meant my friend. Auslander, I like online shopping too when I'm not in a hurry to get something but sometimes the need is more immediate than an online purchase can accommodate.
same with me but it doesn't really matter because i cant drive so i can't make it to the store any faster than ordering online. i only go to stores if my parents can take me befoe the shipping date or if the price is a lot lower from rebates.
yeah when i posted that i totally meant MY experience wit hte people at my office max, they are clueless on most things. I dont think any of them are worth a damn, and i'm almost sure most of them are "retail" people with no PC experience. i try to quiz them whenever i'm in there and they always fail. not that i have anything against retail people at all, i mean come on it's a retail store. i wouldn't ask any of them anything and expect a good answer, just like i wouldn't expect the guy that works in the auto parts isle at walmart to know how to fix my engine.
