Official Halo 2 Chat

Well with almost a whole page without halo talk, im gonna direct our attention back to it. Has anybody jumped on the pelican in the Delta Halo level? I have its quite a ride but you have to jump otherwise you die, and it is eaisiest if it is on co-op.

I havent been on the Delta Halo Pelican, but I have been on the Metropolis Pelican. That is so weird when it flies around and crash lands with loads of marines :s

 

could someone plz email me some tips for halo 2 multiplayer.

Vehicles-
Warthog machine gun is faster than the other warthog but the weapon is weaker.Not for 1 person.turrain.good on rough you beat with a grenade launcher or sniper to the driver.not much of a threat unless playing capture the flag and has 3 people in for flanking.
Warthog gauss cannon is slower than the other warthog but stronger and again better for 2 people.same as top.
The ghost is only for one person and better for escaping or traveling not much for battle. You beat it with almost any gun upclose and grenade launcher.best on flat ground. Impossible to kill the driver with sniper.
Banshee is better for escaping or traveling or getting to sniping places.you beat it with grenade launcher.not a threat.
Weapons-
Pistol is better when dual wielding and always go for head shots.use a fast trigger finger.to beat it just run and swerve or jump over there head.
Battle rifle is better for mid range sniping and again use a fast trigger finger.dont go for head shots go for body shots.to beat it go up close or too for away for them to to shoot you.
smg is better for well….nothing.dont use it.to beat it get a better gun.
Sniper rifle is great for long range fighting.go for head shots. Watch the other person through scope 5x then when you have them in sight 10x scope them and go for head shot there is no rush so don’t be stupid.to beat it just don’t go in the open or if you do go in the open walk forward back and do weird stuff.NEVER jump because when you land you will get shot.
Rocket launcher is a good gun aim at feet and don’t waste ammo.to beat it make the other person waste ammo and jump when the shoot at you.when people lock on you get out of the way fast.
Shotgun is useless from far away so get close like really close and shoot.to beat it stay far away.
Plasma pistol is almost useless unless you charge it and evan then its almost useless.dont worry about it.
Plasma rifle is a strong gun but overheats better when dual wielded .dont worry about it.
Needler is useless alone but good when dual wielded going kamakazi style to blow up the both of you.to beat it when you are shot at go behind a wall.
Carbine is a decent weapon but better when you scope.use a fast trigger finger.beat it by going up close.
Beam rifle(alien sniper) is good and better when you go for body shots . to beat it do same as sniper rifle.
Brute shot is not very good so don’t use it.dont worry about it.
Covenant sword is great, lock on (let the aim thing turn red) then pull trigger finger.to beat it stay far far away.
Plasma grenades are good aim high at person.
Frag grenades are good aim short.


Good duals-
Plasma pistol + pistol-charge plasma pistol then hit the person go up close to the person before life recharges then hit with head shot with pistol it will kill him fast.
Plasma pistol+smg-same as top but a little weaker.
Double needler-good for kamakazi style.
Double pistol-just go crazy.

Hints-
While in a heated battle run at the other person and jump over there head.it will confuse them and youll get some good shots on them.
While in a heated battle run around the other player while looking at them it will make it harder for them to aim.
When the other person is shooting you yell what are you going and then start to shoot them.

What do you mean thoughts for halo 2? halo 2 is already out. They should be for halo 3 and if so belong in the official halo 3 thread

hey begginner, the plasma pistol is pretty pointless in single player mode but on xbl or multiplayer all together, u can use its full charge to take out the enemies shield and then blast him with a BR or ne other weapon but BR works best. its basically called a noob combo on live but everyone uses it, almost like a power weapon.

 

Oh right strategy, sorry, you should have said. if you could make any, what improvements to Halo 2 would you all make?

 

thx to the kid with the br plasma pistol combo does anyone have more?not combos like duel wield

 

I love using n00b combo. Duel Wield a Plasma Pistol and a SMG. Charge up the plasma pistal, shoot your enemy with the charge beam then go after him with the smg. It's my favorite combo, it may be kind of cheap, and n00bish but it works!

the smg+plasma pistol isnt as good as the magnum+plasma pistol.not to say that the pistol+pistol isnt awesome
