I tried to watch War Inc. last night, it was so bad I turned it off after 30 minutes, and I don't do that often, it was stupid.

I had seen it on a site and still decided to buy it. I understand he was making a statement by going over the top, but he went too political IMO.

    THe Happening's plot was preposterous.

Watched Journey to the Center of the Earth again today and still thought it was entertaining even though it is totally unbelievable. I guess that is what Sci-Fi is all about though.

Also finally got around to watching Knocked Up. Pretty good flick, reminded me of some of my college friends....and yes I was reminded of that fact by my wife.

Saw Indiana last night with the family and neighbors, everbody except the youngens enjoyed it, I think the young ones are so spoiled by todays heavy special effects I can almost see how it can happin.

It was no better or worse than the last one, I enjoyed the last three including this one.

That's exactly my opinion on Jones as well.. It's an OK film.. the end is a bit silly, but all in all.. Xmas day after a stuffing with food and ale.. Will be fine to take your brain out and flop in front of the TV for a couple of hours with.

I think we all sometimes forget that certain films are made for that audience more than for the hardcore cinema goers. Rather like the last 8 or 9 Bond films.. (up to Casino Royale.. which was an all together darker and more bleak Bond) Ripping yarns, not to be taken seriously.

Now you know I like Asian cinema... How about Sick Nurses anybody?

Indeed it was in a league of it's own and probably my favorite so far...although I do find it hard to put in front of the old classics starring Sean Connery.

Yeah I enjoyed Casino Royale more than some of the earlier bonds, but not all of them, for much the same reason. :)

iluvendo, yeah, thats ok, I'm glad you liked it, after 30 min. me and the wife looked at each other and started laughing, sometimes neither one will say its a stinker for maybe the other might be enjoying it, but it this case it was a clear mutual reaction, unless something was really great after we turned off 30 min. than it was our loss, if not thats ok, the first 30 stunk the house up.

Hi everyone, but has anyone seen the new "Get Smart" movie, and is it appropriate for my 8 year old niece Hayley ? I'd appreciate your opinions before I buy the movie.

    Thanks again :)

I let my 4 year old watch it simply because he doesn't understand it right now...I would say if he were 8 I wouldn't let him watch.
