Hey abuzar, if you're gonna lose it, do it from your newbie account, that way you won't have to post another 2,500 posts to get back to addict! lmao!
I saw Hancock in the summer when I was in the UK, and thought it was a good movie. A lot of my friend's were moaning that it was crap but I didn't really see why, maybe it was just over-hyped. Still haven't seen Doom or Wanted
"Love Actually".. errmm.. no.. don't think I have bothered with that one. I'll have a look through my boxes and boxes of burns and see if it's there. Warning.. If it makes me throw up I'm going to have my 2 hours back XD Hancock I really enjoyed.. I think Will Smith wasn't perhaps the best person for the role, but as usual he made it work. That was my only problem with it TBH.. Will is a nice likeable guy, and you aren't supposed to like Hancock because he's an a$$hat... Bit of a fail there, but it's a film I think will get into the holiday tv schedules in years to come.
Isn't love actually the comedy with Kiera knightley and mr bean in it (I know his name BTW ) A friend was telling me it was good but I haven't seen it
The wife made me watch Love Actually, and i ended up liking it. Enough wit and decent dialogue to make it likeable. My favorite line; I am Collin, god of sex. I'm just on the wrong continent. Oh, and MR. Bean is Rowan Atkinson.
Alright thanks Nice to meet you by the way, rtm, I've seen you around the forums Just finished watching Taken and it was a great movies, really good Although it seemed a little too unreal at times, still good EDIT - Just read your post 7th I really did , I was testing you guys/gals XD You passed with flying colors ;D Just messin, I wasn't sure how to spell his name XD
I just watched Madagascar and Saw 5 Madagascar was awesome and i know im not a kid anymore but it was just so tempting. A really light comedy for all the family and for those of us who refuse to grow up haha. and as for Saw 5 for any of us who liked the story and are still fans of the jigsaw systematic and heartless murders this one you will surely enjoy. I mean it never gets old seriously I wanna watch Quantum of solace i'll let you know take cares laterz =)
I was "forced" to watch "Love Actually" a while ago by one of my "ex"-girlfriends( God bless the b!t@# !)I thought I was gonna puke too, because of too much "over sentimental sugary trash" -however, I ended up enjoying it, even the re-runs; pretty good humor. "Hiya kids. Here is an important message from your Uncle Bill. Don't buy drugs. Become a pop star, and they give you them for free! "
Just my kind of girl! You got some good taste I liked the LOTR series, that's why I was hoping for something in the same line when i heard about "In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale". however, disappointed, except for some good fight scenes with Jason Statham, I wasn't moved much. Blade 3 did let down some. Even Jessica Biel couldn't save it much for me( had the hots for her since 7th heaven ). Lets cross fingers and hope the third installment of "Underworld" does not follow the "Blade" pattern. Should check out "Night Watch" and then "Day Watch", you might like them.
Nice to meet ya too Ray....always good to have another Ray on these boards. Love Actually has alot of memorable quotes. One of my favorites is from Hugh Grant who is playing the Prime Minister talking about how great England is : "We may be a small country but we're a great one, too. The country of Shakespeare, Churchill, the Beatles, Sean Connery, Harry Potter. David Beckham's right foot. David Beckham's left foot, come to that." During the commentary, Hugh Grant explained that his rant went on a bit longer. I lost it when he said one of the analogies cut was "Catherine Zeta-Jones breasts"...just not an analogy that I would think would be used.
Another Ray, who else is ray here??? @cyprus, you're talking about Madagascar 2 right?? Still haven't had a chance to watch that
