Just watched Madagascar 2 today (left Mummy 3 ripping to come back & only on 12% but that's another story) good but not as good as first. Most recent surprisingly good dvd - you know those that get no hype & you almost don't bother watching - was The Mist. Stephen King movie - they are usually dodgy & this started that way but bear with it. Billed as a horror movie but more about human interaction & the ending.... the ending is sooooo wrong. The Happening first 5 minutes good rest of movie pants. Here endeth my comprehensive movie review

Well the Punnisher was a pretty good move if you like fighting & lots of blood & guts otherwise give it a miss!

You Brits get all the challenges. TDK tomorrow, here, should be anticlimactic!

Mummy3 out on 16th in us apparently. TDK out today haven't attempted yet - still recovering from 3 days of failed Mummy3 rips... :(

It would probably be easier to just download a rip instead - you own the disc, that's what matters.

    Quantum of Solace was excellent.

Daniel Craig is becomeing my favorite bond to date...but really there hasn't been a very good one since Connery. I love the cold blooded, heartless nature the series is taking on.

I liked better the previous installment. I do like Craig, but I thought QOS did not have enough gadgets.

It's a bit of a Timothy Dalton style approach, but I think it's working better this time. Not actually seen QoS yet, but I certainly enjoyed how the role was played in Casino Royale, and despite hearing many negative reviews, I'm still anxious to see it.

I liked Pierce Brosnan better. The movies did get a bit ridiculous in the end though(Die another day).

Still he was pretty cool. The perfect James bond image(no homo).

I didn't think much of Quantum of Solace at all. Casino Royale was much better. :)

    Anybody seen Twilight yet?

Watched Charlie Chan: in the Chinese Cat, circa 1944. Typical B&W movie of the time. Entertaining. I grew up watching these in the 50s and 60 as midnight movies. After these Chan and also Sherlock Holmes movies of the era, they sell war bond and stamps in the theater lobby.

I have not, but my wife has seen it twice. She loves it. She's also a huge fan of the books. She'll probably go again.

I recently saw Traitor, pineapple express, and wedding crashers recently, as well as a few I can't recall, and P/E was hilarious :p

I'm looking forward to QoS, and Madagascar 2

Four Christmases also looks to be funny from the trailer

Well went to see Twilight today. My daughter loved it, i enjoyed it but it is definitely more a teenage romance movie than a vampire movie. Age under 12's with adults, so not too much blood and gore.

There was a trailer for Underworld 3 while we were there, that's coming out in 2009, looks like it's going to be a prequel about Lucien and Viktor and Viktor's daughter. Looking forward to that one!

I agree Eva, the new Underworld looks real good... There is also a new Fast and the Furious coming out this summer complete with the original cast (Paul Walker, Michelle Rodrigez, Vin Diesel). I really can't wait to see that...

Did anyone else here see Role Models? That was a funny freaking movie, i was mad that i had to pee halfway through it. lol
