old brick-have eeprom-work?

    Hello all,
    Quick question. I just got a used box and the HDD is dead. I have built and used an eeprom reader before. As long as I get the eeprom I can just reformat a new HDD with xboxhdm and the eeprom right? There is no "critical data" on the old hdd?

    Great!, these little readers should be in any modders toolkit.Many thanks to Unicron1 for the idea. Now I just hope this Phillips drive reads my dvd's :)
